Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Responsibilities
- Guide the accounting department in all accounting, financial and administrative disciplines and ensures accounting excellence, high productivity, and satisfaction in full specifications.
- Define, optimize and implement standard accounting processes in cooperation with CFO.
- Ensure Timely, Accurate and Justified accounts.
- Monitor performance on accounting excellence and initiate corrective measures.
- Prepare financial statements in line with FIRS.
- Monitor cash flow, receivables, and payables.
- Timely monthly, quarterly and annual tax applications to LIRS/FIRS.
- Be the first point of contact for LIRS and FIRS related questions and audits.
- Ensure close monitoring of the monthly overhead budget.
- Ensure accounting excellence within his area of responsibility.
- Ensure appropriate staffing and training in conjunction with Human Resources.
- Ensure the correct and full use of accounting enabling applications.
- Ensure and provide timely responses to customer, vendor, colleagues’ generated emails or other documents/communication.
- Ensure regular daily, weekly and monthly reporting to management.
- Manage staff under his responsibility and tasks as assigned by management.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or any Finance related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years experience preferably at Senior level in the Oil and Gas sector.
- Proven experience in working with LIRS/FIRS and external auditors.
- Knowledge of Up to date accounting and tax knowledge in line with FIRS regulation.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a diverse environment and cultures.
- Ability to prioritize, plan, assign and control.

Job Title: Commercial Manager
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the company’s business process; develop and implement the commercial strategy for the organization, and help identify and develop business opportunities, in addition manage projects from inception to conception.
- Ensure the organization grows in line with the business strategy while maximizing commercial interest and profitability
- Build, update and manage the organization opportunity portfolio ensuring that an up-to-date, healthy maturation funnel is available to support the growth and value creation objectives of the company
- Coordinate the annual business planning process ensuring timely delivery of the business plan and supporting budget
- Provide, own and manage the economics and commercial models and provide the analysis required to support opportunity maturation and portfolio management efforts (whether the underlying studies are undertaken internally or by third-party contractors)

Job Title: Operations / Chartering Manager
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a passionate team of unit managers, to provide exceptional service to the clients. Manage the client and contractual relationships ensuring compliance and company policies are adhered to while maximizing commercial performance.
- Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way and improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
- Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability.
- Analyze the contract terms and identify areas of possible risks and opportunities related to the application of contract clauses. Quantify the risk value and provide mitigating contractual language/article project-related solutions to minimize the risk.
- Negotiate contracts with customers with compelling arguments.
- Safeguard company’s contract objectives.
- Manage and coordinate contract administration activities, providing contract administration resources to bids and projects, ensuring that all aspects of the contract during the bidding and execution phase are addressed with the objective of contributing to maximize project revenues.
- Assist with the bid handover and booking process and ensure that the necessary commercial information is understood and disseminated to the extended project team.
- Establish and maintain the project variation control system and managing negotiations in line with contract requirements.
- Ensure compliance with the project-specific contractual administration requirements.
- Provide advice, assistance and guidance to management, project managers and functions on project specific contractual matters.
- Ensure commercial risks are identified and managed across the project scopes of work by controlling the overall project risk and opportunity review and reporting process.
- Support periodic client and internal reporting and performance presentations.
- Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant. Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
- Review business performance and ensure the delivery of key financial targets in line with management and performance reporting. Demonstrate commercial value to your direct reports, line manager and leadership teams, in line with our vision, values and business strategy.
- Provide management direction for all marine operations and liaison with contractors, contract holders, and consultants.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in Business Administration preferably MBA.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience with the last five years in a leadership role.
- Must have Certifications from CILT, CIPS and other relevant bodies.
- Project Management certification (PRINCE2, PMI) would be an added advantage.
- Excellent record of driving organizational change from inception to conclusion.
- Excellent knowledge of Information Technology is required.
- Knowledge of transport and logistics management, contract management, budget planning, and execution and management of information system.
- Must possess strong leadership skill.
- Ability to deliver result in a timely manner.
