Your Role
- Working within the Product development team, this role is responsible for development and management of the Cloud product set.
- You will be responsible for product definitions, pricing strategies, product features as well as all service and support aspects of the overall Cloud Services product offerings.
- Candidate will work closely with the Sales, Solution Architecture, Project Management and members of other teams as required from time to time.
- As a Senior Specialist – Products (Cloud and Hosting, you will build trust, value others, communicate effectively and politely with mutual respect, maintain professional internal and external relationship that meets company core value.
Key Accountabilities
- Work with Stakeholders to define/scope and develop world-class Cloud, SaaS, Backup and DR offerings
- Oversee, support and champion initiatives across various teams to translate product and service delivery strategies into successful business outcomes
- Develop and present compelling business cases and product positioning in the marketplace
- Define product definitions, pricing strategies, product features as well as all service and support aspects of the overall Cloud Services product offerings.
- Identify and work with vendor partners to establish thought leadership in their various markets and work with them to reach their customer base.
- Manage cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Operations, Engineering, Solution Architecture, and Sales to help define and shape the go-to-market strategy for your products.
- Own the product lifecycle and have a point of view on change management in all aspects of new product introduction and sustaining efforts.
- Evangelize our current solutions internally and externally via blogs, conferences, workshops and customer meet-ups.
- Work directly with the Executive Team as necessary to fulfill the vision and strategy of the corporate efforts that are executed inside your portfolio.
- Provide the Sales Organisation business consultative support required to sell the Cloud product. The Product Specialist shall function as the in-house product subject matter expert and a reference point for the Sales and Solutions Architecture team
- Provide pricing support to the Solutions Architecture team for pre-sales solution formulation including bid preparation
- Have a good understanding of customer and market dynamics.
Our Qualification Requirements
- You must have a degree in Business or Technology with a minimum of 5-10 years post NYSC Experience in product development/management, preferably in the telecommunications industry.

- We are looking for individuals with proven experience as a Product development and management, deep understanding of the Cloud IaaS and Enterprise Virtualization markets, with a heavy focus on VMWare and its eco-system, public cloud systems like AWS, Azure and GSuite.
- It is desirable for you to have Top Technical competence with keen business acumen, ability to take complex technical concepts and communicate them simply and effectively to non-technical audience
- Also, we require a good communicator that can drive C-Level conversations with a bang! Experience at a Senior/ Expert level in cloud product (of any type) e.g, IaaS or Hosting would be a bonus!

Your Role
- Working within the Product development team, you will manage products through its life cycle including the development, launch and management of the products, marketing plans, business plans, channel interaction and information sharing regarding the products.
- You will develop Unified Communications products and services including Hosted Contact Centers, on site IP PBX and Hosted IP PBX’s, VoIP, Video Conferencing and Fixed and Mobile converged services.
- The Product Specialist- Unified Communications will work closely with the Sales, Solution Architecture, Project Management, and members of other teams as required from time to time. You will build trust, value others, communicate effectively and politely with mutual respect, maintain relationships that meet company core value.
Key Accountabilities
- Follow defined product methodology in terms of taking product to market.
- Analyse products through the various stages in the product life cycle.
- Conduct required market research if and when required to accurately capture customer / business needs and views.
- Define new products to be developed that will meet specific identified customer needs.
- Work with various parts of the business to develop and launch new products or services.
- Understand the target market and ensure the marketing effort is directed towards identified segments in the most effective manner, including providing strategic product direction based on market trends, customer needs and market opportunities
- Work with Marketing to develop collaterals, promotions and advertising campaigns for products.
- Gather intelligence on the product performance, customer and distribution channel attitudes.
- Identify problems and opportunities within the market.
- Liaise with various departments and external vendors in order to ensure that the product meets overall objectives.
- Where required, management of product contracts and agreements both internal and external to Vodacom (includes vendors and business partners)
- Prepare product presentations and information / training material on the product.
- Compile monthly product management reports analysing the growth and decline of the product.

- We are looking for individuals with exceptionally strong knowledge of Unified Communications product and services; Hosted and on site IP PBX’s, Hosted Call Centres, VoIP telephony, Video services, Fixed and Mobile Converged products and services, Knowledge of Fixed and Broadband Access & IP Products and Services and basic networks Layer 2 and 3 products..
- Also, we require you to have experience in Financial Performance Management, Accounting practices, Commercial, Business and Product Management experience.

- You must have a degree preferably in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years post NYSC Experience in in Telecommunications or ICT environment.
Job Title: Business Development Support
Location: Lagos

Reporting to: Executive Head Business Development Group
Band: H
Your Role
- Working within the Business Development Group, this role will provide administrative support to the Executive Head of Department; BDG and work closely with entire BDG sales team.
- The role will maintain accurate records and file of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities including the use of approved applications (SAGE, Microsoft Outlook and Share point) to maintain accurate records to maximize group’s potential.
Key Accountabilities
- Weekly preparation of WIP report including summary of weekly launch documents for Management Meeting Reports
- Organize BDG sales meetings
- Take minutes of all meetings including follow up on the action points of each meetings within agreed timeline
- Organize the calendar and meeting schedule including agenda and meeting objective of the EHoD BDG
- Correspondences typing, filling and taking telephone messages for the EHoD BDG.
- Follow up with Account Receivables on credit memos
- Support the Sales Administrator in Project Launch in SAGE and interface between BDG and Service Delivery team, Net Ops and Account
- To Maintain and Monitor the documentation of the ISO system
- Ensure original contracts are given to Legal Weekly
- Ensure BDG Internal processes are followed by each AM
- Assist in the Bids process
- Assist in the implementation of company sales plans.
- Assist other members of the team with administrative functions
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
- Assist in organization of BDG workshops, seminars, Exhibitions etc
Our Qualification Requirements
- You must have a degree in Social Sciences or Business Administration with a minimum of 3-5 years post NYSC Experience.
