Job Title: Account & Finance Manager

Location: Nigeria
Experience Level: Executive level

Job Descriptions

  • Liaise with external and internal auditors to handle and financial irregularities that occur
  • Prepare financial statements such as monthly and annual accounts
  • Prepare financial management reports including planning and forecasting
  • Creating reports offering recommendations after internal or public sector audits.
  • Providing advice on tax affairs.
  • Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations

Requirement and Qualification

  • B.Sc/HND in Accounting
  • Member of Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria
  • Minimum of 10 years of work experience
  • MBA/M.Sc (Added Advantage)
  • Must be a Female
  • Age: Not more than 40-45years by the end of December 2019

Job Title: Head Corporate Secretariat, Legal & Compliance

Location: Nigeria

Job Descriptions

  • Experienced Head, corporate secretariat, legal and compliance to ensure our company adheres to legal standards and in-house polices
  • You will be responsible for enforcing established business regulations as well as provide guidance on compliance matters
  • To ensure high level of ethical standards and work diligently to complete their duties keeping in mind the objectives of the business
  • Must be comfortable saying “NO” when necessary and be result oriented
  • Ensure to keep company integrity by making sure it stays on the lawful & ethical course

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversees control system to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidance and internal policies
  • Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve on them continuously
  • Revise procedures and reports periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues
  • Draft, modify and implement company policies
  • Collaborates with corporate counsels and HR department to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations
  • Keep abreast of regulatory development within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control

Requirements

  • Ten (10) years Post call-to Bar experience
  • Age: Not more than 40-45 years by the end of December 2019
  • Gender: Female (Being a northern an advantage)
  • Minimum of Six (6) years cognate experience in corporate affairs and company secretariat duties.
  • Proven experience as compliance manager
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry standards and regulations
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
  • A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to communicate in Hausa Language (Strong Advantage)

Job Title: Human Resources Manager (HRM)

Job Descriptions

  • Conducts wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate.
  • Writes and delivers presentations to corporate officers or government officials regarding human resources policies and practices.
  • Prepares budget of Human Resources Operations.
  • Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
  • Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
  • Represents organization at personnel related hearings and investigations.
  • Contracts with outside suppliers to provide employee services, such as temporary employees, search firms, or relocation services
  • Recruits, interviews, tests, and employees to fill vacant positions.
  • Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward Company goals.
  • Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations and employee statistics for government.
  • Develops and maintains a human resources system that meets top management information needs.
  • Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.
  • Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Studies legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining contracts to assess industry trends.

Requirements

  • B.Sc Degree in any of the Social Science field.
  • M.Sc in Human Resource Management (Added Advantage)
