Principal Duties and Responsibilities
EHSSQ Development:
- Develop a comprehensive EHSSQ strategy and plan based on ENYO’s business plan.
- Ensure the development and effective deployment of high standard EHSSQ systems, processes and plans and monitor compliance.
- Develop a comprehensive framework for EHSSQ which would help the company conduct its operations and ensure compliance with local, state and federal government legislation/regulation on environmental protection.
EHSSQ Management & Monitoring:
- Responsible for continuously monitoring Environment, Health, Safety, Security and Quality (EHSSQ) within the Company.
- Responsible for ensuring that daily operations and activities at the Company’s Retail Outlets and business locations conform to international Environment Health Safety (EHS) standards, remain safe, free of health hazards and are environmentally friendly always.
- Identify, appoint and train safety personnel in the head office and all ENYO business locations and keep these resource staff abreast of the current EHS standards, regulations and laws.
- Carry out audits of all retail outlets and office locations periodically to ensure adherence to EHS standards of performance and the elimination of all unsafe conditions and practices by employees, dealers, transporters and other stakeholders.
EHSSQ Compliance & Reporting:
- Carry out EHS Awareness training programs for all employees and other stakeholders and acquaint them with all arrangements on fire prevention and control, occupational health and first aid.
- Liaise with all monitoring agencies and ensure compliance with their EHS statutory requirements.
- Ensure standards Checks are carried out at all Retail Outlets. Checks should cover EHSQ, Look & Feel, House Keeping and branding and Stock management as well as supervision adequacy.
- Investigate all accidents and near misses and render timely reports with recommendations for the prevention of future occurrence. Ensure appropriate logs and registers exist for all important EHSSQ data.
- Prepare weekly/monthly EHS Updates on the activities of the company. Keep the company informed of EHS related incidents where staff can draw out some lessons.
- Ensure Reports of Controls & Standards Checks are submitted within reasonable time as agreed by EXCO and all actions followed up with action parties until they are closed.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental/Chemical Sciences or related field.
- Possession of HSE Level 3 qualification is essential.
- Membership of relevant HSE Professional Bodies such as Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria, Nigerian Environmental Society or equivalent etc. is essential.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Engineering Projects:
- Act as Lead in the design and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring that projects are delivered on-time, in-budget and to-specification.
- Develop plans for all engineering initiatives by establishing the costs, schedules, and technical service level agreements for each initiative.
- Track the progress of engineering projects against set and agreed baselines and ensuring that projects are delivered timely.
