Job Title: Chief Maintenance Officer
Location: Kano
Job Description
- He/she is responsible for conducting routine maintenance of company’s property and equipment. Oversee the maintenance of buildings and mechanical systems to ensure required tasks are completed for operational effectiveness.
He/she shall:
- Perform regular maintenance practices on property and equipment.
- Conduct maintenance and routine repair work on machinery, Generators, electrical works, Plumbing system, general facility routine maintenance etc
- Keep accurate records/logs of all maintenance practices.
- Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, water, power etc.) and refurbishments
- Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
- Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations
- Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs
- Supervise all staff facilities staff (custodians, technicians, cleaners etc.) and external contractors
- Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, conveniences.
- Allocate office space according to needs
- Handle insurance plans and service contracts
- Keep financial and non-financial records of the facility
- Perform analysis and forecasting
- Liaise with staff, workmen & professional for routine maintenance.
Requirements
- Minimum of B.Sc/B.Eng/BA/HND in Estate/Facility Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Admin, Business Management.
- Relevant professional qualification will be an advantage
- Must be computer literate
- At least (5) five years relevant working experience and must have manage similar facilities or projects with not less than 1 year gap in last employment.
- Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position
- Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
- Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Good analytical/critical thinking
Job Title: Company Driver
Location: Kano
Job Description
- The driver is responsible for safe and professional driving works of the company.
He is to:
- Drive staff to and from the Company
- Assist in loading and offloading supplies and deliveries to the Company
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues
- Perform preventative measures on Company vehicles
- Arrange for vehicles servicing and repairs
- Keep record of toll receipts and unplanned expenditure on vehicles
- Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving
- Report defects, accidents or violations
Requirements
- Must have at least (3) years driving experience with driving gaps of not more that 3months from last employment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to work long hours
- Must be conversant with driving and road safety rules and regulations
- Must be able to operate cars, SUV, Pickup and trucks
- Must have a high alertness level

Job Title: Logistic/Transport Officer
Location: Kano
Job Descriptions
- The officer is responsible for overseeing transportation and logistics activities of the company.
He/she shall:
- Coordinate with all department Managers to determine transport requirements and schedule transport to meet them.
- Coordinate the movement of vehicles and other transportation assets
- Ensure the appropriate use, maintenance and repair of all Company vehicles
- Create and modify various systems to manage the movement of vehicles and personnel
- Ensure documents are updated such as vehicle registrations, insurance, vehicle logs, daily inspection reports, etc
- Ensure sufficient supply of fuel and oil
- Coordinate collection and disbursement of transport fare when needed
- Train, maintain and supervise drivers
Requirements
- Minimum of B.Sc/HND in relevant field of study from a recognized educational Institution.
- Must be computer literate
- At least (5) five years relevant working experience in a similar position
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have good knowledge of transport fleet management, vehicle maintenance, route planning and should be conversant with routes within Kano State and the northern States
- Must be able to read and write
- Must be courteous with good communication skills.

Job Title: Chief Security Officer
Location: Kano
Job Description
- The chief security officer shall be responsible for the overall control of the company’s security and safety systems.
Duties
He/she has the following duties:
- Develop and implement strategic security protocols and procedures
- Develop policies and protocols for securing & protecting sensitive documents and information
- Train security personnel on routine patrol and CCTV monitoring/reporting
- Coordinate security team in maintaining vigilance and security of the Company premises
- Initiate and monitor safety measures to protect lives and properties within the Company.
- Prepare and provide daily, weakly and monthly reports for management
Requirements
- Minimum of B.Sc/HND in relevant field of study from a recognized educational Institution.
- A retired officer from the Rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police, Major of the Nigerian Army or Assistant Commandant of the Nigerian Security & Civil Defence Corps will be an added advantage.
- Must be computer literate
- Must have a minimum of (10) Ten years relevant experience in security services and has been a team leader in the last employment.
- Must have a good knowledge of security systems
- Must be able to judge and detect possible threats and act accordingly
- Must be willing to work long hours, even overnight
- Must have a high alertness level
- Must be able to read and write
- Must be able to work in a team
- Must be a good communicator
