Key Role Responsibilities
Strategy Formulation and Implementation:
- Develops and executes strategies and policies for the Technology Solutions department that are aligned with NG Clearing’s corporate strategy.
- Plays an active part in NG Clearing’s strategic planning process by contributing relevant input on Technology solution issues.
- Works with other members of staff to develop strategies and plans that will enhance customer service, improve user effectiveness and foster innovation within NG CLEARING.
- Manages the financial aspects of the Technology solution department, including technical acquisitions, budgeting and budget review in line with operational strategies and NG Clearing’s goals.
Application Support:
- Leads and participates in all phases of application development lifecycle.
- Provides technical support and maintenance of internally developed software to ensure optimum availability.
- Provides maintenance and support to all applications assigned.
- Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions.
- Coordinates with management in developing long term plans for application development.
- Communicates with the customers regularly, builds a strong relationship, manages escalations and provides better customer support services.
Systems Analysis:
- Reviews processes regularly to identify and automate areas suitable for computer based solutions.
- Analysis complex business needs presented by the user community and /or clients and recommends technical solutions.
- Plans, develop and implements new systems and ensure proper functioning of existing systems.
- Suggests technical solutions to problems arising from systems malfunction.
Leadership and People Management
- Manages and oversees department’s performance through direction, supervision and performance appraisals; provides constructive feedback to employees to assist with development.
- Provides strong direction and leadership, ensuring clear strategic objectives are in place to guide the work of the department.
- Support the implementation and facilitation of relevant workshops and training courses.
- Promotes a strong team culture.
Business Process Improvement:
- Contributes regularly to discuss regarding internal process and system improvements in order to ensure maximum efficiency across the company.
Project Management:
- Analyses, plans, identifies improvement and designs technology solution project for the organization.
- Implements standards and manages the team for project execution and control activities.
- Monitors and communicates relevant information relating to, project or programme execution activities.
- Identifies and obtains agreement for changes to project or programme baseline plans, as directed.
Job Specification
Academic Qualification:
- Minimum of a First Degree/HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related disciplines.
- An MBA or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related discipline is an added advantage.
Professional Qualification:
- Relevant professional certification such as ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructural Library), MCDBA- Microsoft Certified Database Administrator, MCAD- Microsoft Certified Application Developer, MCSD- Microsoft Certified Solution Developer, MCSA- Microsoft Certified System Administrator.
- Linux admin (Redhat or Centos)
Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years experience, six (6) of which must involve Software Engineering, Secured programming and application security, and Information Technology project management.
- Experience with Linux system administration and programming
- Experience in Financial/capital market.

Job Title: Business Development Executive
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- The Business Development Executive will be responsible for researching and pursuing new business leads for the growth of the business.
- The role involves active coordination across teams and demands exceptional inter-personal skills.
- The executive is expected to work on new business proposals and presentations which are a persuasive representation of our company. Must be energetic, well-spoken, and eager to close sales and increase revenue.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate business leads and following up on sales opportunities.
- Establish customer needs and selling products accordingly.
- Work to weekly and monthly sales targets and Key Performance Indicators
- Arrange meetings with clients and carrying out product demonstrations.
- Follow up swiftly on sales enquiries and sending out information.
- Work closely with other teams to develop new business.
- Research the market and identifying potential target customers.
- Attend industry events in order to generate business leads.
- Oversee the sales process to attract new clients.
- Work with senior team members to identify and manage risks.
- Maintain fruitful relationships with clients and address their needs effectively.
- Prepare and deliver pitches to potential investors.
- Foster a collaborative environment within the organization
