Job Title: Head, Commercial

Reporting Line: Chief Innovations Officer

Job Purpose

• The purpose of this role is to open new business opportunities and convert leads for the organization.
• The incumbent will ensure business growth through directing new sources of Income for the organization and ensure business activities are delivered in accordance with the organizational strategy.

Responsibilities

• Grow the profitability of the company through ensuring strategic and tactical leads conversion.
• Create new avenues of revenue generation for the organization.
• Develop and lead the Business Development team in sourcing, managing and implementing new business opportunities.
• Manage, retain relationships with existing clients and Increase client base.
• Proactively identify, develop, and drive long-term strategies and initiatives that will result in profitable growth.
• Take ownership of opportunities which management deems strategic and important.
• Ensure seamless execution of new business opportunities.
• Drive market analysis and research to identify trends, needs, competition and new opportunities.
• Grow product and business portfolios of the organization.
