The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) was established by The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund Law 2016 to provide financial support to residents of Lagos State, for job, wealth creation and to tackle unemployment.
About the Employability Support Project
The Employability Support Project was initiated by Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to increase the pool of skilled manpower in the state by putting young Lagosians through a free vocational training programme in order to improve their chances of getting a job.
The courses focus on the following key sectors of the economy: Construction, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Hospitality, Entertainment and Garment Making.
The Employability Support Project presents a good opportunity for unemployed youths in Lagos State to empower themselves, start a career in their chosen field and drastically improve their prospects. The programme also aims to place successful trainees in jobs after training has been completed.
The project is managed by Arc Skills, a globally recognized training services provider while the training sessions are administered through a large network of competent and certified Vocational Training Centres.
