Job Title: Head, Strategy & Business Development
Location: Lagos
Main Responsibilities
- The chosen candidate will playa leadership role in business development and implementation of a long-range of strategic plans and objectives through the identification of strategic issues and opportunities that could influence business growth and profitability
- He/She shall be responsible for competitor benchmarking, marketing program effectives, industry intelligence, consumer knowledge, and development of strategic initiatives
- The Head of Strategy shall lead the department in launching high priority strategic initiatives, working directly with the business executives of various subsidiaries in implementation of the agreed strategies
- The Head Strategy shall report to the Group Managing Director.
Responsibilities
- Ensures the formulation & implementation of the strategic plan.
- Drives the development of the corporate strategy, including periodic and annual formal reviews of the Group’s long-term strategic plan
- Works closely with senior executives ( Holdco & Subsidiaries) to lead most critical strategic initiatives, including business unit strategies, geographic expansion efforts, and new business launches
- Provides in-depth industry and comparative market analysis and recommendations in support of senior management decision making.
- Put in place performance measures that will determine the effectiveness of implemented strategies and identify areas for strategic improvement.
- Defines potential businesses in order to realize profitability opportunities and also to avail insightful qualitative analyses.
- Effectively develops and motivates the sales team in alignment with strategic goal across the group.
- Submit regular analysis reports for senior management, business leadership and executives, and relevant stakeholders for purposes of further decision making.
- Collaborates across the organization with top leadership, aiding in individualized strategy formulation for different projects and initiatives.
- Conduct research on industry trends and market demand to inform product development.
- Create the right partnerships and also leverage on opportunities.
Qualifications/Skills Required
- 10-15+ years of experience in strategy, business development, or sales, preferably in the financial services or financial software industries
- MBA & M.Sc in Finance & other relevant qualification and professional registration.
- Proven analytical skills and problem solving ability paired with meticulous attention to detail
- Understanding of the alternative investment space or related financial services experience
- Self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership of projects
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of internal stakeholders

Job Title: Managing Director
Location: Lagos
Main Responsibility
- The Managing Director shall be responsible for giving strategic guidance and direction to the board to ensure that the Company achieves its financial vision, mission and long term goals.
Responsibilities
- Setting the overall strategic direction of the company alongside the board.
- Plans and implements the long term business strategy of the organization to achieve the overall objectives.
- Devising a 5-year plan and working with other board members to oversee its implementation.
- Working closely with the Sales team on sales strategy and approach to winning new business.
- Carrying out regular SWOT analysis to mitigate any potential risks through industry and market changes.
- Setting company-wide KPI’s to gauge company performance in all areas.
- Prepare a corporate plan and annual business plan and monitor progress against these plans to ensure that the company attains its objectives as cost-effectively and efficiently as possible.
- Maintaining a dialogue between shareholders and the board.
- Develop and maintain an effective marketing and public relations strategy to promote the products, services and image of the company in the wider community.

Qualifications/ Skills Required
- 15+ years of senior level experience of management of people and resources.
- A proven record of success in senior level general or commercial management, preferably in a financial industry.
- A degree in Social Sciences or any other related field. Professional qualification will be an added advantage.

- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Bankers Nigeria.
- An understanding of financial management and wider management principles and techniques.

Job Title: Head, Savings Group
Location: Lagos
Main Responsibilities
- Successful candidate shall be responsible for facilitating business growth through sale of liability (Deposits) products including building profitable client relationships, maintaining effective deposit portfolio management and standards of service quality in compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Deposits Mobilizations teams in achieving the bank’s deposit target.
- Design of Operational marketing material – support the design and implementation of advertising, and operational marketing materials.
- Cross sells all the savings accounts accordingly and other alternative delivery channel products as applicable against given targets on specific assigned operational areas.
- Develop and Identify suitable savings promotion activities according to area specification and prepares the action plan.
- Drive activities, leads the team and the follow up process for opening accounts for potential customers of the bank especially customers mobilized through market storm.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow/retain business.
- Customer value management- analyzes customer demographics and behavioral trends, and develops appropriate campaign strategies in response to the results of this analysis.
- Responsible for ensuring adequate brochures and savings promotional materials at the branches;
- Channel development – assess the performance of various market channels in the bank, and track developments.
- Responsible for making appropriate recommendations on future business initiatives. In addition, track developments in other channels.
- Brand – undertake research on brand performance that supports its evolution.
- Ensure proper performance management metrics is established.
- Collaborates with Head, Strategy & Retail Group on coordination of mass marketing activities.
Qualifications/ Skills Required
- Extensive experience of working in a marketing function in a retail financial services environment.
- 5-7+ years of experience in deposit mobilization with at least 5 years in microfinance.
- In-depth knowledge of financial products.
- Ability to sell and cross-sell large range of products.
- Good supervisory skill.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, consistently adhering to deadlines and evolving priorities.
- Communication & Analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal & numerical skills.
- Excellent team player.
- Must be between 35 – 40 years in age.
