Job Title: Physiotherapist
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- As a physiotherapist you would help patients with physical difficulties resulting from illness, injury or ageing to improve their movement.
- You will devise and review treatment programs using manual therapy (such as massage), therapeutic exercise and electrotherapy.
- As well as treating patients, you would also promote their health and wellbeing and provide advice on how to avoid injury and self-manage long-term conditions.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licensed
- Accurate charting and record keeping for all patients
- Experience in Pully Therapy will be an advantage
- BSc/Master and/or Experience within Orthopedic and Sports Medicine rehabilitation coverage will be an advantage
- Resident in Lagos preferably Egbeda and its environs.
Major/Specific Responsibilities
- Assess injured patients and diagnosing of current health status and level of injury.
- Establish treatment plan and carry out treatment and rehabilitation using manual therapy techniques and active rehabilitation programs.
- Involvement in patient education and follow up communication with patients either by phone, email or in person
- Provide a patient experience that is unlike any other clinic experience for our patients.
- Become actively involved in the various Sports activities and participate in the many events scheduled throughout the year
- Liaising with professionals such as doctors and nurses
- Providing education and advice about exercise and movement
- Keeping up to date with the latest advancements in the profession.
