Job Title: Associate Cost Engineer

Location: Lagos

Requirements

Job Title: Completion and Well Intervention Engineer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • In collaboration with vendors, person will oversee the design, preparation and execution monitoring of DST/ TCP and Well Test operation.
  • In charge of the design, preparation and execution monitoring of Coiled Tubing acid stimulation and matrix
  • With vendors, person will oversee the design, preparation and execution monitoring of Wireline perforation, sampling and Production logging operation
  • Delivery of Completion and Well Test program as per company standards.
  • Coordinate the material selection for the equipment with vendor specialists.
  • Coordinate equipment QA/QC plan in accordance with agreed functional specifications.
  • In charge of End of Well Test Reporting.

Job Title: Directional Drilling & Survey Coordinator

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Prepare and present directional drilling projects and involve in all areas of well planning.
  • Liaising with Directional drilling contractors.
  • Coordinates directional drilling personnel and equipment.
  • Coordinate the projection of well path to pre-determine target co-ordinates and take remedial actions.
  • Advice on directional operation, good practice, job execution and overall performance.
  • Advice contractor’s representatives and Specialists of drilling requirement and options and provide them with relevant information regarding job progress, problems and solutions in a professional manner.
  • Ensure that adequate supplies and equipment are always present at the well site

Job Title: Drilling Fluid Supervisor

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Provides as required technical support to supplement experience of Contractors Drilling Fluids Engineers.
  • Works with the Mud Contractor and drilling Fluids Superintendent to deliver enhanced quality service and to ensure the program meets the objectives of delivering the well without
  • Proactively ensure well operations fluids meet technical and operational requirements of the drilling and mud programme and are cost effective.
  • Ensure quality and consistency of work and reporting of all drilling fluids related contractors at the rig-site.
  • Monitor drilling and completion activities and provide technical advice as required to keep the mud in the best state to perform its role in the well.
  • Monitor utilization of drilling fluids chemicals to ensure there is no wastage and are being used in a preventive manner to preclude well problems.

Job Title: Drilling Tool Pusher

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Ensure the safe, economical and efficient performance of the drilling, and well completion activities by supervising the execution of the activities in compliance with SEPLAT’s standards, contractual requirements, work program and current and current legislation
  • Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged on the rig area consisting of one or more well sites: Directs workers on safety, equipment usage, rig move concerns and drilling crews in setting up and operating power units, draw works and other drilling equipment
  • Orders type of drilling bits to be used, according to type of strata encountered.
  • Directs workers in mixing drilling mud and circulating mud in borehole, and in use of special drilling mud to prevent blowouts from gas pressure.
  • Cooperate with the technical engineers to set up a proper maintenance plan for the drilling equipment. Be responsible for safe working conditions on the rig site at all times.
  • Participate in the preparation of the Safe Job Analysis before start-up of the non-routine operation or job and ensure completion of risk assessment where required.
  • To provide continuous, accurate, clear and concise information to the SWE on any aspect of the rig operation and when necessary on continuous twenty-four (24) hours per day basis.
  • Communicate learnings and advise on potential areas of performance improvement or improved value to the SWE.

Job Title: Night Drilling Supervisor

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Safeguard SEPLAT’s company’s asset and environment (e.g. wells, materials and equipment)
  • Supervise the drilling contractors and service employees to deliver the highest quality performance and technical integrity of the wells. Adhering to the global and local technical standards.
  • Verify that all contractors adhere to and are fully aware of SEPLAT’s well control policy and
  • Procedures. Also effective manage emergency response plans for well operations.
  • Provide guidance and technical assistance to assist the drilling superintendents/well operations delivery manager
  • Follow management of change procedures and report any deviations to the program and/or
  • Non-planned events to the Senior Well Engineer (SWE).
  • To provide continuous, accurate, clear and concise information to the SWE on any aspect of the rig operation and when necessary on continuous twenty-four (24) hours per day basis.
  • Communicate learnings and advise on potential areas of performance improvement or improved value to the SWE
  • Responsible for the creation of well site reports and verifications of drilling data. Ensure accuracy of the data and timely close out of reports. Also responsible for the timely sending and quality of the daily operations report.
  • Verify and sign off job tickets and WCCs for jobs performed at the well site.

Job Title: Senior Drilling Supervisor

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Ability to contribute effectively in company HSSE programs & systems. Promote active use of the SHIC system and ensure strict compliance with HSSE-MS manual)
  • Make valuable contribution during the review and approval of detailed Drilling and abandonment program in the asset. Follow-up to ensure drilling program and AFE cost approval is secured before rig move to well location. Ensure the closeout of Drilling End Of Well Report two weeks after well is completed.
  • Conduct DWOP, WWOP & AAR meetings for all wells scheduled in the Technical Work Program and ensure that comments from these meetings are fed back into the future completion programs.
  • Participate in the technical and commercial evaluations of all drilling equipment and associated services contracts with NPDC or NAPIMS to support the delivery of the technical work program.
  • Ensure that drilling contractor and service personnel deliver the highest quality performance and technical integrity of the wells during the execution phase.
  • Ability to monitor drilling engineering parameters to support drilling operations.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of POs, WCCs and invoices required for well cost recovery with NPDC and NAPIMS during the execution of drilling service contracts.

Job Title: Waste Management Supervisor

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Develops and ensures implementation of SEPLAT’s procedures for effective management of drill cuttings and oilfield waste.
  • Continually check and verify contractor’s designs and implementations of waste disposal systems.
  • Make sure Safety processes are adhered to/and compliance to global operations standards are well followed by service companies.
  • Regularly update waste management policies and procedures through lessons learnt and service quality meetings.
  • Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets; manage contractor employees in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
  • Maintain proper handling procedures for all waste materials.

Job Title: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Supervisor

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  •  Provide visible leadership; Liaises with onsite leadership and management to create facility specific HSE goals, priorities and key performance measures
  • Administer and assist with implementation of company safety policies, standards and procedures.
  • 3. Conduct audits of company operations as required, supporting applicable HSE standards for compliance of Company policies
  • Implement and monitor compliance with Permit to Work, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Work Safe Procedures, risk Assessments (Operational Risk Management) Standards as required. Monitor and maintain adequate safety equipment, i.e. personal protective equipment, safety belts, & harnesses
  • Monitor compliance of HSE standards and procedures during critical rig operations such as rig up/down and rig move.
  • Lead and/or participate in HSE related incident investigations.
  • Follow up corresponding corrective actions until closure.
  • Perform additional duties, responsibilities, and special projects as may be directed.

Job Title: Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QA/QC) Engineer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Perform all daily inspection and test of equipment, necessary to achieve the quality of well delivery.
  • Carry out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures at the base and ensure all test procedures are within global acceptable standard.
  • Assist with rig crew to ensure knowledge of all quality standards and ensure compliance to all quality manual and procedures and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain quality of all systems.
  • Manage lifting of all equipment and handle efficient storage of all hazardous materials and perform quality audits as per planned schedule.
  • Monitor operating systems, record and track project activities.
  • Analyze all processes to ensure all jobs are performed according to global standards.
