Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Summary

  • The primary responsibility of this position will be to plan and manage activities related to the identification, pursuit, and capture of business opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop business strategies in coordination with unit head to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop business proposals and quotes for new and existing customers.
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Develop creative strategies to retain clients including interviewing them to take their feedback and incorporate it into the growth plan.
  • Maintain a knowledge repository of clients, referrals, prospects and presentations.
  • Participate in industry forums, client discussions, and conferences as a representative of the organization.
  • Determine cross-selling opportunities across different business units.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategies
  • Strong understanding of corporate strategy
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance and supervision.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Tech savvy
  • Ability to build and deliver compelling business plans, models and proposals.

Job Title: Clearing & Logistics Associate

Location: Lagos
Reporting Line: Head, International Trade

Job Summary

  • The primary responsibility of the Clearing & Logistics Associate is to ensure all cars shipped into the country are properly cleared in line with the Customs laws of the country.
  • This role involves working majorly from the field while working occasionally from the head office as required by the Head of International Trade.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure all car documents are authentic and delivered to the customer on delivery of the car
  • Ensure that all cars shipped and cleared for customers are taken to the appropriate locations and delivered to customers safely
  • Ensure that 90% of cars kept in holding bay are assessed daily
  • Ensure that 90% of cars assessed are sent to the customer for delivery
  • Ensure that customers delivery and other services preference is adhered to 100% of the time
  • Manage clearing partners and provide strategic assistance as needed
  • Keep accurate data of activities,
  • Ensure that logistics and delivery activities follow the right process in line with company regulations
  • Ensure cars cleared are moved to the holding bay for assessment
  • Follow up closely with Logistics partners to ensure that cars are taken to appropriate locations as at when due
  • Monitor the end to end process of logistics and delivery
  • Work with Retail team to prepare & process all car documents when requested by the customer
  • Work with After sales team to repair cars where necessary
  • Ensure that all documents are authentic
  • Ensure that clearing partners deliver as agreed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
  • Ability to take responsibility for tasks to the end
  • Eager to learn and very flexible
  • Outgoing and willingness to be on the field
  • Proven integrity
  • Clearing and forwarding experience is an added advantage
  • Previous logistics experience is an added advantage
  • High level of emotional intelligence
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Skills
  • Ability to multitask and successfully operate in a fast paced, team environment
  • Must adapt well to change and successfully set and adjust priorities as needed
  • Strong organizational agility to enhance cross-functional communication and collaboration
