Job Title: Accounts Receivable Officer – 1
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for goods sold or services rendered.
- Researching and resolving account discrepancies.
- Processing and recording transactions
- Maintaining records regarding payments and account statuses.
- Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up to date.
- Working with the Finance Officer to review accounts and client payment and credit history to develop new or better repayment terms.
- Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts.
- Generating reports and statements for internal use.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc forecasting reports on receivables.
- Perform bank reconciliation, support periodic and end-year account closure exercise, and statutory audit.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 3 years cognate experience in an oil and gas sector preferred.
- Strong math, typing, and computer skill, especially with bookkeeping software.
- Excellent communication, research, problem solving, and time management skills.
- High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments.

Job Title: Customer Service/Business Development Officer
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Qualifies prospective customers by ensuring that credit checks are completed and verified prior to the delivery of products.
- Answers and distributes incoming telephone calls; may share receptionist duties as well.
- Takes customer orders for Automotive Gas Oil, lubricants, gasoline products.
- Follows the order taking process through to final delivery of the product to ensure that customer expectations are met.
- Reviews and researches problems obtaining necessary information from policies, procedures, practices or company contacts.
- Informs customers of standard procedures or resolution of a problem.
- Makes periodic contacts with existing customers to determine satisfaction with the company, products and services.
- Provides support services to internal and external customers
- Prepares, and verifies new orders for pricing, availability and deliveries.
- Maintains and update Customer Order Log and Price Log
- Prepares, verifies sales confirmations to customers in timely manner.
- Provides information to customers and schedule them for various company service plans.
- Generates and qualify leads for the business.
- Reviews and understands all present and future customer service programs offered by our client.
Requirements
- An incumbent of this position must possess and maintain a professional business behavior in mannerism and appearance, a positive attitude, a multi-task capability; and high level of computer skills.
- BSc. Degree in Business Administration, Economics, English Language or any other related courses required with prior experience in customer service areas.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent and effective communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills

Job Title: Head of Accounts and Finance
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Drive the company’s financial planning
- Enforce proper accounting and control methods, policies and principles
- Manage and oversee all daily and periodical operations of the Accounts and Finance Department
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial statements, and other management reports.
- Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities, investments, and capital structure
- Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
- Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with global accounting and audit standards
- Liaise and support external auditors and tax consultants of the company on statutory audit and tax matters respectively.
- Manage all internal and external business relationships (vendors, clients, bankers, investors, etc.) of the company
- Provide leadership and technical support to all team members of the Department.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Proven work experience as a Head of Finance, Director of Finance or similar role
- In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping
- Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Solid analytical and decision-making skills
- Leadership abilities
- BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
- MSc/MBA or relevant certification (e.g. ACA, CFA/CPA) is a plus.
