Job Title: Recovery Manager
Location: Abuja
Reports to: This position reports directly to the Head of Credit or as may be assigned.
Job Description
- The Recovery Officer is responsible in the management of the company’s defaulting portfolios.
- S/he will be well-informed on the debt collection best practices and approaches and will develop options and alternatives that guarantees an effective recovery process that will reduce the company’s Portfolio at Risk (PAR) to the lowest minimum.
Duties
- Develop and sort out the recovery strategy to reduce incidents of overdue loans.
- Assist the risk department to carry out risk control.
- Use comprehensive skills and means to complete the recovery task.
- Submit a credit report to the credit bureau.
Job Requirements
- Background in Credit Recovery, Clear and Systematic understanding of risks.
- Good communication skills and ability to withstand work Pressure
- Have Recovery experience and Proficient and Skillful in Negotiation.
- Familiar with the judicial processes of Loan Recovery, and have a good working relationship with lawyers and the judiciary.
Job Title: Accountant
Location: Abuja
Job Description
- An Account officer is needed to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.
- Ultimately, the Account officer will provide us with accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we’re compliant with all tax regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
Requirements
- Ability to carry out company Tax Duties and certified/qualified Auditor
- Work experience as an Accountant
- Banking or FinTech experience
- Excellent knowledge of accounting law regulations.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree.

Location: Abuja
