Main Responsibilities
Production declaration:
- Declares production in a timely manner based on information provided from operations
Material consumption:
- Reviews back-flushing error report (COGI) daily and solves errors in report (in collaboration with planning / operations / finance)
- Does frequent material stock counts at shop floor and adjusts system stocks to match actual stocks
- Reviews & analyses count differences and shares outcomes with Mill planning and operations to drive data & BOM accuracy
Machine hour recording:
- Enters machine hours provided by Operations into SAP
- Material Supply to operations:

Material returns:

- Annually develop lean roadmap / master plan for the entire site and provide assistance for the execution thereof.
- Deliver a clear understanding of the requirements for the lean journey necessary to build a productive environment that improves productivity, delivery and improve safety, quality and cost.
- Ensure efficient use of the global communication platforms to fill the local pipeline with new ideas and best practices, as well as providing the global plant network with local lean success stories and initiatives.
- Maintain a relentless focus on waste reduction and process efficiency improvements
- Drive and educate individuals on Problem-solving technics, 4SPS and A3 development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with relevant 5 years Lean experience. OR 10 years in a leadership position in leading an Operations or a Technical team with excellent experience in leading continuous improvement programs.
- Good track record of Lean Processes, min 5 years, advanced level
- Excellent business acumen, Change management skills, and Excellent Leadership skills
- Project Management Skills.

Job Description
- The purpose of the role is to work with the maintenance / engineering team in the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities to ensure the effectiveness of plant equipment is maintained to world-class standards
Main Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance task planning and work order management.
- Work request approval, Updating work orders to accurately reflect current work and reviewing daily new work orders.
- Development and preparation of task work packages
- Identification and allocation of resources for maintenance activities
- Staging of parts in conjunction with the Engineering Stores team
- Plan, develop and confirm asset inspections and standard work associated with equipment condition
- Collaborate with mill production team and asset leaders to identify appropriate maintenance scheduled activities.
- Support coordination of materials with planned maintenance engineers, technicians and teams through the development of tasks packages,
- Ensure work packs are available prior to the commencement of maintenance tasks.
- Support daily maintenance meetings, attending weekly management meetings to schedule work orders in the correct time period
- Prepare work packages in anticipation of short shut opportunities. Obtaining quotes for materials and services, Order materials and services in SAP following pre-approval.
- Ensure that statutory inspections are scheduled and completed to ensure site compliance.
- Schedule maintenance activities to ensure minimal disruption to production processes.
- Working with Mechanical and Electrical Engineer to order and maintain the correct level of consumables on site.
- Agreeing work scope with subcontractors and obtaining quotes against them
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in either Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years previous engineering and maintenance experience in FMCG environment
- PC Literate
- SAP maintenance management system working knowledge will be an added advantage.
