The Providence by Mantis is a 5-star hotel in Ikeja, Government Reserved Area, Lagos. The understated luxury and class are complimented by the exceptional service on offer. Set in a sprawling suburban backdrop, away from the energy and excitement of Lagos, the hotel has a modern design, elegant lines and bold colors. The Providence by Mantis consists of 79 luxury rooms, 3 of which are PentHouse Suites situated on the 5th Floor.

We have recently commenced operations and are seeking to recruit highly talented individuals for the position below:

Job Title: Sales and Marketing Manager

Location: Lagos
Reports to: The General Manager

Requirements

• Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration or Social Science
• At least five years’ hospitality work experience three of which should be in a managerial position(s).
• Excellent negotiating and persuasive ability.
• An excellent network of contacts is required for this position.
• Excellent interaction, discussion and situation handling abilities.
• A thorough understanding about marketing and advertising strategies.
• Excellent organisational and time management skill, with the ability to set priorities.
• Computer literate with knowledge of a verity of computer software applications, including Opera Fidelio and Microsoft office.

Desirable:

• Certification and Training in Hotel Management
• Master’s Degree
• 5-star hotel experience

Task, Duties and Responsibilities

• The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for, and manages all aspects of the hotel’s active and aggressive sales and marketing team initiatives, and maximizes. the overall revenue of the hotel by directing the revenue generating activities in accordance with the sales and marketing business plan.
• The job incumbent should be active, proactive, analytical, and should achieve results in every respect.
• AU work will be in line with the hotel’s guidelines, business plan, The Providence by Mantis corporate guidelines and service concepts.
