Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Lagos
Reports to: National Business Manager

Job Description

  • Your Job is to deal with customers, acquire new customers and sell additional products or services to existing ones.
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and exhibitions
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
  • Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the companys products
  • Developing quotes and proposals
  • Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in-person
  • Developing sales goals and ensuring they are met
  • Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings
  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential clients, discovering and exploring opportunities.
  • Identifying new sales leads
  • Pitching products and/or services
  • Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
  • Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
  • Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
  • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
  • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
  • Increasing the values of new customers while attracting new ones
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging the network.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Every other duties as assigned by managementа

Qualification

  • First degree or equivalent education
  • Minimum 2 years post NYSC work experience

  • Socially dept
  • Good with numbers
  • Strong communication and IT fluency
  • Creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events
  • The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
  • Skill in prioritizing and triaging obligations
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organization

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Generate income from direct sales
  • Provide courteous and friendly service
  • Provide 500 customers details in 6 months.
  • Provide customer loyalty programs
  • Ensure assigned stock is complete
  • Level of personal improvement achieved.
  • Exceptions raised on Customer service delivery and Store presentation.а

Remuneration
N80,000 net monthly plus commission on sales
