Job Title: Engineering Manager

Location: Lagos
Reports to: Managing Director

Job Objectives

  • Responsible for ensuring that all projects and engineering duties are fulfilled and to develop client base/customer relationships in bringing in new businesses.

Job Responsibilities

  • Development, execution, supervision, and coordination of all technical aspects of on-going projects and projects under development.
  • Develop client base/customer relationships in bringing in new businesses
  • Responsible for Performance Monitoring Processes (PMS) to ensure targets are met with respect to quality, cost and schedule on all projects.
  • The EM will, from time to time as directed by the MD represent the company at technical meetings such as design review workshops, presentation of company capabilities to prospective clients, conferences, etc.
  • Supervise and work closely with various engineering discipline and be responsible for the overall technical delivery of projects and services to the satisfaction of our various clients.
  • Manage the overall productivity of engineering staff by assigning the right individuals to tasks in all cases.
  • Plan and manage engineering and design systems implementation, technical specifications, standard drawings standard setup of models etc., and data management systems.
  • Provide technical interface with customer and ensure the customer is aware of the environmental effects of the deliverable and is qualitative/quantitative information, including options for improvement.
  • Providing clear and concise instructions to engineering teams.
  • Bid preparation and timely submission of tenders
  • Any other duties assigned by the MD from time to time

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent
  • MBA and Project Management Certification is an added advantage
  • 5 years minimum experience in similar role
  • Certification in COREN or NSE

 

Job Title: Account Clerk

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitors the financial system in order to ensure that the organization’s finances are maintained in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Maintains the accounts payable and accounts receivable systems in order to ensure complete and accurate records of all finances.
  • Preparation of the budget
  • Implementing financial policies and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain cash controls
  • Preparing and reconcile bank statements.
  • Maintains supplier accounts and processing supplier invoices.
  • Ensure accurate data is entered into the system.
  • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
  • Acts in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws of both state and federal
  • Receive supporting documents and verify with payment documents.
  • Preparing payroll and pension

Job Title: Procurement Specialist (Engineering)

Location: Lagos

Job Objectives

  • Responsible for identifying and sourcing procurement suppliers, negotiating sales contract terms and conditions favorable to the company
  • To also ensure profitably whilst sourcing new businesses and clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leads the procurement function and oversees all aspects of purchasing, negotiations, strategy, tool and process implementation for procurement and delivery related to goods and services.
  • Develop client base/customer relationships in bringing in new businesses
  • Provides leadership and direction to the procurement arm of the business.
  • Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
  • Researches new products and services to meet company’s goals
  • Assesses total costs of company purchases
  • Manage overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of procurement for the Company.
  • Perform all procurement and contracting activities including pre-qualification, tender management, negotiation, preparation of contracts and MOAs.
  • Access to Nipex and all other portals relevant to the business.
  • Set policy and guidelines for delivering commercial and cost-effective procuring process for the business.
  • Develop key relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners and OEM’s to improve business.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to obtain best price and service.
  • Attending meetings to generate more business for the department
  • Increase RFQ’s and PO conversion to ensure the company meets its minimum set targets
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities to achieve financial goals.
  • Analyze market and delivery trends to develop procurement technologies and processes that support those trends.
  • Identify areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results.
  • Any other responsibilities requested by the Managing Director.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Engineering, Sciences or any other relevant discipline
  • MBA and Project Management Certification is an added advantage
  • 5 years minimum experience in similar role.
