Job Summary
- The Operations Manager will manage the overall operations of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures, systems and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting and look for opportunities to expand systems.
- Establish contracts and pricing and ensuring proper maintenance and serving as primary liaison with utilities and local government agencies, such as fire, police, health and safety agencies
- Manage relationships with key operations vendors
- Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing
- Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations
- Track vendor pricing, rebates and service levels
- Communicate client’s issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the clients experience, including resolving problems and complaints
- Work closely with management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures and systems and to follow through with implementation.
- Provide direct management of key functional managers in the organization
- Ensure the development of tactical programs to pursue targeted goals and objectives
- Defining long-term strategic goals and developing clear plans to implement them.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Prepare regular reports for upper management
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
- Carrying out specific projects and research as assigned;
- Perform any other assigned duties.

Requirement And Experience
- BSc in Business Administration, or any management related discipline
- Minimum of 7 years post NYSC cognate experience
- Experience in the oil & Gas sector will be an added advantage
