Job Title: Graphics Designer
Location: Lagos
Reports to: Head, Marketing and Communications
Role Summary
- The content strategist is to work to understand business goals and user needs, then help plan,
- develop and deliver clear, relevant content that brings the two together.
Primary Responsibilities
- Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
- Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
- Test graphics across various media
- Amend designs after feedback
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
- Study design briefs and determine requirements
- Schedule projects and define budget constraints
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
Job Specification
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
- Proven graphic designing experience
- A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop,
- Adobe premiere pro and after effects)

Salary Range
- N80,000 – N120,000 (monthly net)
Job Title: Content Strategist
Location: Lagos
Reports to: Head, Marketing and Communications
Role Summary
- The content strategist is to work to understand business goals and user needs, then help plan, develop and deliver clear, relevant content that brings the two together.
Primary Responsibilities
- Proofread and edit written pieces before publication
- Schedule social media posts
- Conduct keyword and SEO research to understand customers’ needs
- Monitor web traffic and engagement (e.g. conversions and bounce rates)
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
- Follow industry-related news and generate ideas around trending topics
- Review and update published content as needed
- Create engaging content in collaboration with teams across departments.
- Monitor, respond to and escalate customer enquiries and alerts on social media to the Marketing Manager
- Coordinate and leverage on partnerships with external Marketing, PR and communications teams
- Manage and maintain Riby’s Marketing Communications tools
- Manage our editorial calendar to ensure timely publication
- Curate and publish blog posts and newsletters
- Identify gaps in our content and recommend new topics
- Create style guides to use as a reference
Job Specification
- Experience using social media for business
- Solid writing and editing skills in English
- Time-management skills
- Creative, intuitive, sensitive, articulate, and expressive.
- Original, nonconforming, and innovative.
- Proven work experience as a Content Strategist, social media manager, communications analyst or similar role
- A portfolio of published articles
- Experience in campaign management is a plus
- Knowledge of Content Management Systems
- Familiarity with SEO guidelines and keyword research tools (e.g. Moz and Google Keyword Planner)
