We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Kitchen Steward
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Perform daily cleaning routine checklist of opening and closing operation of kitchen.
- Place and organize kitchen utensils and equipment in their regular spots.
- Ensures the bin area is tidy all times and empty all bins as often as necessary.
- Identify and report any deficiencies at the kitchen that may effect to low hygiene standards, to the Head Cook. Follow the safety procedures at the kitchen.
- Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen area is compliance with the standards and regulations.
- Assist the Cooks in terms of the readiness and the cleanliness of kitchen facility and equipment in daily kitchen preparation.
- Transports kitchen equipment’s as needed and identify and report any deficiencies at the kitchen, which may need repair and maintenance, to Head Cook. Follow safety procedures, especially related to kitchen equipment.
- Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen are in compliance with the standards and regulations.
- Perform dishwasher cleaning of all kitchen utensils e.g. pots, pans, plates, grills, etc. in accordance with hygiene standards.
- Transport food and beverages as well as kitchen supplies and equipment to other departments, as needed.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Education/ Qualification
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in the hospitality business
