Job Title: Facility Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Type: Contract (6 months)
Job Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standard
- Inspect building structures to determine the need for repairs and innovations
- Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize cost
- Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, electricity etc) and refurbishments
- Supervise all staff facilities (custodians, technicians etc) and external contractors within the premises
- Control activities like waste disposals, use of equipment and proper allocation of resources
- Forecast, prepare and implement monthly budget for building use and facility maintenance
- Develop and implement schedule for regular evaluation of facilities
- Initiate interventions to solve problems in facilities
- Put in place strategies to promote the organization standard and culture
Requirements
- Minimum of three years cognate experience
- First degree holder in Facility Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field
- Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Well versed in technical/engineering operations and facility management at its best

Job Title: Procurement Support Manager
Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
- Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terns
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies
- Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organizational partnerships
- Forecast prices and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer supplier power
- Perform cost and scenario analysis as well as benchmarking
- Partner with reliable stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
- Determine quantity, quality and timing of all deliverables
- Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients

- Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines

- Evaluate practices, procedures and policies to assess risk and adherence to safety laws
- Conduct and facilitate trainings and presentations on health, safety and environment matters as well as accident prevention
- Monitor compliances to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations

- Interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics and measurement to plan layouts
- Weld small and large components such as plants and machineries
- Ability to use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that performs the same job
- Maintain and repair all machineries when necessary
- Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors
- Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat resistant gloves, protective masks and safety shoes
- Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature
- Work as a team member to complete workshop projects or duties
- Weld components in flat, vertical and overhead positions
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE or its equivalent
- Journeyman certification in welding
- Minimum of three years cognate experience
