We are recruiting to fill the position of:
Job Title: Cafeteria Manager
Location: Abuja
Job Description
- Takes inventory and checks all supplies for quality and quantity
- Monitors food tastes and appearance and may consult with the chef and cooks to plan healthy and cost effective menus.
- Keeps accurate and detailed administrative records for daily, weekly or monthly reports
- Promotes the cafeteria and the organisation’s initiatives.
- Trains, coaches and mentors departmental staff on required areas to ensure a high level of productivity.
- Partakes in hiring process for the Cafeteria department.
- Ensures that the cafeteria follows all sanitization and health regulations and that meals nutritional standards are met.
- Handles customer complaints and resolves issues in a timely manner
- Schedules departmental work hours
Education Requirements
- Applicants must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel and Catering Management, Food Science Technology or its equivalent from a reputable Institution
- Experience: 5-7 years as a Manager in a Restaurant, Hotel, Hospital Cafeteria or equivalent

- Must have reasonable reflective thinking focused on deciding what to believe or do.
- Must possess purposeful, self-regulatory judgment which results in interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and inference, as well as explanation of the evidential, conceptual, methodological, criteriological or contextual considerations upon which that judgment is based.
