Tutor / Mentor at The Powerful Young Project Institute (PYP)

The Powerful Young Project Institute (PYP) is a social enterprise providing an education platform that trains, mentors and sponsors tuition of students. PYP is setting a foundation for problem solvers in the future through its 360Education curriculum which combines necessary school subjects with moral education, skill building and cognitive development.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Introduction / Detailed Description

• PYP platform provides quality education – an opportunity for young people to Explore, Discover, Imagine and Create. We are a new brand of 360Ed, which means anyone passing through the PYP experience comes out, representing the PYP brand, much more equipped with what he or she needs to be a nation builder. A young person, confident and independent, curious to learn, determined to succeed, with a strong desire for self growth and positive impact.
• You must be committed and willing to make a difference in your students academic history, you must be able to impact knowledge. You must have excellent command of English.
• You must be coordinated,you should be able to prepare students for post secondary examination (WAEC, GCE, SAT, SSCE, JAMB, UTME, etc.)
• We are currently In need of an experienced Tutor /Mentor.
• As a tutor and mentor at powerful young project you will be expected to tutor junior and senior secondary school students, on science subjects especially, follow them up academically, ensure visible and measurable improvement in their academics, monitor their progress, encourage them to set and meet academic goals and supervise their commitment to learning.

Qualifications

• NCE, BSc or its equivalent.
• Experience 2 years +.

Renumeration
NGN 800 per hour.
