- We are sourcing for a Python Developer who has experience building enterprise level application and can contribute to the strategic business needs by translating business requirements into a technology solution.
- In this role, you will be asked to design, code, and test applications using Object Oriented Design. We are looking for someone that is self-driven, ready to take on a new challenge, and able to deliver on solutions from start to finish.
- This is a mid-level Python Developer position. This really is an exciting position within a relatively young team of developers, testers and DevOps engineers.
Principal Responsibilities
- Develop well-designed and performing Python applications and services using scalable techniques.
- Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
- Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Integration of data storage solutions including databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc
- Develop state-of-the-art analytics tools to support diverse tasks ranging from ad hoc analysis to production-grade pipelines and workflows for customer applications
- Partner with Data Scientists and Analytics Engineers to improve the performance and reliability of advanced algorithms
- Ensure high performance and availability of distributed systems and applications

Qualifications
Essential Competencies:
- 4+ years of Python development experience
- Proficiency in one of the following programming languages is required: Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, or C++ preferred).

Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Description
- The Senior Dev Ops Engineer will be tasked with the management and development of continuous integration and deployment solutions for production applications across various sites/software.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the creation of new technology infrastructures and maintain configuration management and automation tools.
- Assist the development teams in the deployment and monitoring of applications based on technologies such as C#, Java, Python, Ruby, SQL Server, MySQL, Postgresql, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Filebeat, Kibana, and RabbitMQ.
- Coaching the engineering development department personnel in the workings of reusable tools and patterns, for example, reusable deployment code for Jenkins, Octopus, Ansible, and Docker.
- Keeping up with industry best practices and trends on behalf of the Automation/Dev Ops department and the larger engineering department
Qualifications
Essential Competencies:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other relevant field
- At least 5 years of working experience in a DevOps capacity, preferably as a DevOps Engineer
- Experience automating and managing large-scale infrastructure and have significant familiarity with
- Docker/Puppet/Chef/Ansible/Powershell DSC/Kubernetes. The candidate will have had vast experience in systems automation, orchestration, deployment, and implementation
- Experience with Jenkins, Windows Server, NGINX, Apache, Bash, Powershell, IIS, Linux, C#, Java, Python, Ruby, SQL Server, MySQL, Postgresql, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Filebeat, Kibana, and RabbitMQ.
- Ability to work closely with other engineers, product managers, and customer support
Skills:
- Must be highly analytical and effectively able to troubleshoot and prioritize needs, requirements and other issues.
