Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

Location: Delta

Job Summary

  • To assist Chef/ Cook in undertaking food preparation tasks, preparing ingredients, vegetables, preparing simple dishes, observing correct cooking times and temperatures, using cooking equipment, cleaning and keeping work stations clean and tidy.

Responsibilities

  • Properly cleaning and sanitizing all food preparation areas according to established standards of hygiene.
  • Washing and appropriately storing all cooking appliances, instruments, utensils, cutting boards, and dishes.
  • Assisting the Cook with the preparation of meal ingredients, which includes washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting, and chopping fruit, vegetables, poultry, and meat.
  • Sweeping and mopping the kitchen floors as well as wiping down kitchen walls.
  • Assisting with the unloading of delivered food supplies.
  • Organizing and correctly storing food supplies.
  • Promptly transferring meal ingredients from storage areas to the kitchen as per the Cook’s instructions.
  • Stirring and heating soups and sauces as well as preparing hot beverages.
  • Assisting with inventory control, removing the garbage, washing garbage cans, and clearing refrigerators, freezers, and storage rooms.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate must have valid certifications which must include BOSIET or OSP.
  • OND / SSCE qualification
  • Minimum 2 years experience in similar role.

Job Title: Baker

Location: Delta

Job Summary

  • Is responsible for the preparation, baking and serving of breakfast in order to satisfy and exceed the expectations of guests.
  • You will be responsible for looking after the areas you work within, making sure they are clean, tidy and well maintained at all times.
  • You will have a sound awareness of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene rules and regulations and work in a manner which complies with them at all times.
  • You will be responsible for upholding the highest standards in terms of food quality and the effectiveness and efficiency with which you produce food items.
  • You will be expected to work in a professional manner, being flexible, dynamic, proactive and enthusiastic and will have sound communication skills to ensure internal and external guests receive outstanding service.

Responsibilities

  • The Baker will bake different bread, pastries and serve breakfast.
  • Measure or weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare batters, dough, fillings using scales.
  • Roll, knead, cut or shape dough to prepare different types of bread and pastries.
  • Observe colour of products being baked and adjust oven temperatures, humidity accordingly.
  • Check equipment to ensure that it meets the health and safety regulations and perform maintenance or cleaning as necessary.
  • Monitor equipment operation to ensure proper functioning.
  • Clean production equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualification

  • Minimum of SSCE.
  • Minimum of 3 year experience in a similar role.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a baker, pastry chef or similar role
  • Familiarity with all bakery equipment including mixers and dough sheeters.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

  • Certification from a culinary school is an added advantage

Job Title: Laundry Attendant

Location: Delta

Job Summary

  • To perform all stages of linen processing including collecting, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding, storing and delivering of all linen used in the camp.
  • Ensure the proper cleanliness and sanitation of all soiled linens to maintain the highest standards of client satisfaction.

Responsibility

  • Must be able to sort laundry by colours, material and fabric.
  • Must be able to determine the best solution for stain treatment.
  • Must be able to operate and maintain washing machines and driers.
  • Must be able to clean the machines after use.
  • Must be able to track laundry to ensure right items are returned to original owners.
  • The ideal candidate must have valid certifications which must include BOSIET or OSP.
  • Proven experience as laundry personnel or similar role
  • Good understanding of safety practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of SSCE
  • The ideal candidate must have valid certifications which must include BOSIET or OSP.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in this position.
  • Must understand basic food hygiene and Safety.

Job Title: Waiter

Location: Delta

Job Summary

  • A waiter, create a positive experience for clients by providing best client experience and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of the dining room
  • Promptly and warmly greet clients in the dining room;
  • takes food and beverages in an efficient manner, following established steps of service.
  • Delivers food promptly and professionally;
  • maintains safe food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Demonstrates complete understanding of menu items and ingredients.
  • Accommodates reasonable requests and notes preferences.
  • Communicates directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure that orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated.
  • Exhibits exceptional communications skills and demonstrates ability to get along well with others.

Job Title: Camp Boss

Location: Delta

Job Summary

  • To manage all aspects of Catering, housekeeping, laundry services etc at a location.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for catering and cleaning activities in the camp, ensuring the daily good management of the location.
  • Fill and keep record of administrative forms in accordance with the Company rules.
  • Supervise training of staff, according to the rules of HSE, Food Hygiene and Safety, HACCP, etc.
  • Responsible for requests made to warehouse, stocking and stock checking in addition to cost control reporting according to the rules made by the Company, always ensuring a minimum stock quantity for each item.
  • Responsible for cold and dry stores in the location. He is the only person entitled to keep the keys and will be responsible for any eventual shortages.
  • The Camp Boss must be clean, tidy and shall follow diligently the disciplinary rules laid out in his contract.
  • Monthly Inventory with reported expiry date of all products.
  • Ensure P.O.B. is duly signed by the Client or his Representative.
  • Records of extra services rendered to Clients, duly signed by the Client, reporting the number of budgeted Projects or refer to object or person, in order to be invoiced.
  • Keep a record and recap of the weekly menu agreed with the Client, duly signed by the Client and Camp Boss and sent to the main office, with all documents.
  • Fill and report staff Time sheet or attendance register.
  • Responsible for the effective cleaning of the kitchen and all its corresponding areas, the dining area and stores, in accordance with the food Hygiene and Safety rules.
  • Supervise the preparation of all meals and ensure that menus established are being adhered to.
  • Ensure that all food, products and merchandise are in conformity with the Company standards.
  • Ensure that all staff, wear PPE, clean uniforms at all times and that the food handling staff wear disposable hand gloves and hats at all times, not only during service.
  • Ensure that the housekeeping of the accommodation should be carried out in line with reviewed standards, every day and whenever required.
  • Ensure that the laundry schedule is carried out accordingly, instructing the Local staff on how to use the various cleaning products and regularly on a daily basis, draw to their attention the safety procedures during use.

Qualifications

  • HND / B.Sc. / B.Ed. / B.Tech

Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Clean and tidy the client’s room by performing all necessary cleaning activities such as dusting, sweeping, trash removal, mopping, and polishing etc.
  • Make beds and change bed linens
  • Clean bathrooms, change towels, replenish bathroom supplies
  • Perform general cleaning of common areas, such as stairs and corridors
