A leading FMCG Company is currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Company Cleaner

Location: Aderibigbe Street, Yaba, Lagos

 

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum of SSCE Certification
  • Good communication skills and Integrity
  • General knowledge of cleaning products, supplies, and techniques for cleaning
  • Able to follow verbal and written directions
  • Ability to work well alone, or with a partner or team
  • Reliable and punctual with a dedicated professionalism to job and duties
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules or routines
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to assist team members with cleaning duties when needed
  • Pays attention to detail when cleaning or attending to errands
  • Organized and able to follow a schedule
  • Ability to lift to 25 to 30 pounds
  • Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with ability to stand for long lengths of time
  • Previous experience cleaning preferred; training will be provided
  • Ability to work five (5) times a week and occasional weekends and holidays
  • Proximity to Yaba axis is an added advantage.

The Responsibilities

  • Dusting and cleaning ceiling vents, surface areas, and counter surfaces
  • Performs general sweeping, scrubbing, mopping of wood, floors, doors, wall hangings, windows and blinds using appropriate cleaning material.
  • Arranging and maintaining the upkeep of all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products.
  • Ensuring the effective and efficient use of sanitary equipment, its storage, and care.
  • Disposal of trash from bins and containers.
  • Polishing furniture and room accessories as needed
  • Wiping down desks and chairs and making sure that stubborn smears are removed using appropriate cleaning materials.
  • Scrubbing sinks, basins, and toilets in the kitchen and restrooms and ensure proper sanitization.
  • Replacing towels, soap and toilet paper in restrooms on a regular basis.
  • Keeping all balcony, walkways, stairways (external and internal), parking lots and the entire office premises neat and tidy at all times.
  • Co-ordinating the usage of the cleaning materials by the drivers and the staff.
  • Notifying the Admin/Operations department about repairs, and replacements when materials are running low.
  • Buy breakfast and lunch from vendors when assigned according to your timing.
  • Run errands assigned to you by the authority.
