Job Title: Product Specialist
Location: Lagos
Department: Product & Marketing
Responsibilities
- Develop product vision and road map.
- Translate high-level product requirements or strategy into detailed requirements through mock-ups, wireframes, or user stories
- Work with the growth, marketing, and business Analyst teams to identify opportunities for product growth.
- Ensure successful product launches.
- Act as a product evangelist to build awareness for your products
- Engage customers to solicit feedback on your product and seek for ways to constantly delight your customers
- Work with the engineering team to ensure that products/features are delivered on time
- Act as a scrum master for our scrum teams and ensure the teams adhere to Agile principles
- Any other responsibilities as may be assigned by your line manager.
- Lead a team of other product managers and business analysts.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required with a minimum of 2 years related experience.
- Must have good knowledge of Agile methodology
- Project Management certification is an added advantage.
As a Product Specialist you should have:
- Successfully launched software products in the past and achieved a high level of customer satisfaction
- Been personally responsible for a product that achieved record revenue and customer acquisition targets.
- Conducted market research for your products and you have experience establishing market fit for your products.
- A deep understanding of user experience and are experienced with creating products that trigger customer loyalty
- Experience prioritizing customer requirements based on customer and business impact
- Experience with Scrum and Kanban agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and an ownership mindset.
- Experience leading teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Job Title: Product Designer
Location: Lagos
Department: Product & Marketing
Responsibilities
- Working closely with senior designer/the team of designers who will regularly review your work to ensure high quality, providing guidance and support to develop personal skills/knowledge.
- Refine images, fonts and layouts using graphic design software/tools.
- Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise products/promotions
- Constantly improve UX/UI to deliver an optimized customer experience
- Create and maintain files for all creative assets and resources, such as software, art materials, and special fonts, which are needed for record-keeping and referencing
- Stay up to date with industry developments, tools and techniques ensuring best practice are shared within the team.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree required with a minimum of 2 years related experience.
As a Product Designer you should have:
- At least 1-year experience as a designer you have a great portfolio.
- Proficient in the use of collaborative-design tools such as Figma/Sketch/Invision or other similar tools.
- Have an eye for good design and confident with HTML/CSS
- Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills
- An ability to think “like a customer”, put yourself in their shoes and relate that to UX/UI designs.
- Deep understanding of the latest web design and illustrator packages i.e. Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator.
- Good understanding of sales promotions and design briefs.
- Able to interpret customer needs/requirements and translating them to User Interface designs.
- Sound knowledge of Human-Centered Design and Design Thinking principles and processes.
- Designing User Interfaces for Business and Enterprise Users.
- Prioritizing work with a team of designers according to business needs.
- Deep understanding of branding and colour theories.
- Excellent blend of creativity and professionalism.
- Understand the impact of design work on a product’s success or failure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an ownership mindset.
- Experience leading teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
