Job Title: Store Keeper
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Our client is recruiting a Store Keeper who will manage all operations in the company’s storeroom
- He or she will play a key role in the proper care and maintenance of a perpetual inventory of forms, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining office supplies, and various types of equipment
- The preferred candidate should have basic knowledge of accounting principles with an eye for details.
Responsibilities
- Manage and train store staff
- Plan promotional campaigns for new products or specials
- Ensure that the store is kept clean and organized
- Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom
- Receive, unload, and shelve supplies
- Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies
- Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report findings to the accounts department for reimbursements and record keeping
- Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses
- Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control
- Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs.
Requirements
- A Degree or Advanced Diploma in Store Management or a related field
- A minimum of 10 years prior experience in retail or store management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be well organized and detail oriented.

Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Our client is recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the company’s daily warehousing activities
- He or she will implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits
- The preferred candidate will be generally responsible for maintaining and overseeing inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items; whilst also securing the warehouse and supervising his or her team members.
Responsibilities
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
- Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees’ performance
- Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
- Ensure shipments and inventory transaction are accurate
- Communicate job expectations to team members and coach employees
- Determine staffing levels and assign workload
- Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
- Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status
- Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative work procedures and practices
- Confer and coordinate activities with other departments.
Requirements
- A Degree or Advanced Diploma in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field
- 10+ years cognate experience in a warehouse supervisory role
- Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures
- Forklift Operation Certification in needed
- Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
- Ability to work overnight shifts
- Knowledge and experience with methods for process re-engineering.
