We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Massage Therapist (Male and Female)

Location: Abuja

Job Details / Duties

• Applying Therapist Will be responsible for treating clients through soft tissue manipulation while maintaining a safe and relaxing experience. Applying therapists must be good at perceiving client wishes and needs through spoken language, body language and other cues and modifying their treatments accordingly. Will always report to the owner or manager of the business.
• Should be able to evaluate clients to determine painful or stressed areas of the body and advise clients on stretching, strengthening or relaxation methods
• Should have the ability to suggest future massage appointments and regime to clients
• Must be able to provide 30-60 minute massages to clients by appointment,
• Guide clients through service offerings and determine which massages would benefit them most.
• Will have to know how to take a detailed client history and note any health conditions
• Must have the patience to listen to clients during appointments and adjust technique as they desire.

Skills and Qualifications

• The required and preferred skills from applying massage therapist includes previous work experience, technical skills, soft skills and personality traits.
• Completed 500 hours of massage therapy courses will be an added advantage if available
• Must hold current massage therapy certification (If Any).
• Experience from working in a spa preferred.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Time management abilities.
• Demonstrated sales and customer service skills.
