Job Title: Supply Chain Logistics and Farm Officer

Job Description

  • Coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations;
  • Collating the quantity of raw materials received and compare with packing list or LPO for reconciliation;
  • Tracking inventory records by maintaining record of receipt as well as issuance of items that are going out of the warehouse so as to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Supervising the farmers activities, truck drivers, loaders, loading, and proper stacking of finished products in the truck, and escalates maintenance of trucks to the line manager for necessary repairs of the trucks;
  • Updating the bin Card with quantity of items received into/Issued out of the warehouse.
  • Maintaining economic order quantity (approved stock level) and inform Management when that level is reached;
  • Partaking in stock count on monthly, quarterly, and periodic bases and reconcile any variance (overage or shortage) of stock within stipulated time
  • Supervising orders and arranging stocking of materials/FG and equipment to ensure they meet needs;
  • Communicating with suppliers, retailers, customers etc.;
