Job Title: Technical Advisor (M / F / D)

Tasks

  • Provide technical support and service for customers, service and sales department
  • Quoting of upgrades, services and non-standards solution
  • Liaise with factory for technical enquiries and feedback
  • Manage special projects (e.g. crane upgrades)
  • Daily and project based reporting to the local Head of Customer Service

Qualifications

  • An excellent knowledge of electronic, hydraulic and mechanical systems (theory and practical)
  • Experience working with Liebherr maritime cranes
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety
  • Customer service orientation
  • Good communication and computer skills and cultural awareness
  • Strong knowledge of the English language, French language skills preferable
  • A valid driver licence

Job Title: Service Engineer (M / F / D)

Tasks

  • Diagnose, adjust, repair and overhaul port equipment such as Harbour Mobile Cranes, Ship Cranes, Offshore Cranes, Reach Stacker and Construction machinery
  • Assembly and commissioning of new machines
  • Repair literally any part, either on the company’s yard, in the workshop or in the field
  • Apply electrical theory and related knowledge to test and modify electric/hydraulic machinery, and electric/hydraulic control equipment
  • Repair or replace damaged or worn parts
  • Operate and inspect machines in order to diagnose defects
  • Regular service attendances at customer sites
  • Comply to applicable safety standards
  • Represent LIEBHERR and its core values
  • Provide technical support and service for customers, service and sales department

Qualifications

  • At least three years of experience as technician in the crane business
  • Good knowledge in electrics, mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • Organize, manage and complete projects individually and in team work
  • Cooperate with all levels of staff
  • Ability to multi-task while completing work in a competent and professional manner
  • Willing to travel in the service region
  • Willing to work overtime as well as on weekends or on call duty
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English, French language skills are an advantage.
