Requirements
- Minimum of B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance.
- ICAN Compulsory
- ACCA is an added advantage
- Required 7 years work experience as an Accountant in a reputable Organisation
- Excellent QuickBooks Professional.
Skills:
- Microsoft word
- Microsoft Excel (Advanced)
- Good Analytical Skills
- Knowledge of Accounting Software (Online QuickBooks Pro)
- Knowledge of Oracle-based Accounting Software (Orion)
- Effective Communication and Interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Posting into ledgers using Accounts Software Package (Online QuickBooks Pro)
- Preparation and presentation IFRS-complaint Financial Statements (Income Statement, Statement of Financial Position and Statement of Cashflow)
- Preparation of Bank Reconciliation Statements
- Handling of Accounts Receivable and Payable
- Consolidation of Returns from Brunches
- Reconciliation of Inventory and Periodic Stock-taking
- Liaising with External Audit on the Statutory Annual Audits
- Preparation of Audit Programme
- Preparation and Monitoring of Company Budget
- Preparation of Audit Journals
- Salary Administration
- Handling of Tax Matters
- Regulatory Compliance
