Position Purpose
- To ensure that the Terminal Tank Rehabilitation Campaign is successfully completed, with zero LTI or harm to people or to the environment, on time, and conforming the terms and conditions of the Contracts, Company and International Standards and Specifications.
Principal Accountabilities
- Site HSE management.
- Review of engineering designs and AFC drawings.
- Review and approval of project HSE plan and Job Hazard Analysis.
- Review and approval of work method statement and procedures.
- Review and approval of project quality plan.
- Review constructability of project execution plan and advise on optimization of resources.
- Undertake Technical and Safety Audits.
- Meet project objectives in terms of quality.
- Inspection and verification of construction materials.
- Drive Quality Control inspection activities.
- Planning and supervision of site construction activities.
- Implementation of project specific risk management registers.
- Project cost and schedule performance monitoring and evaluation. Implement any necessary corrective action.
- Preparation of project cost and schedule performance reports.
- Ensure that the reporting requirements are met accurately and in a timely manner.
- Lead site progress review meetings.
- Co-ordination of site project management team.
- Coaching and mentoring of site project management team.
- Transfer of skills to colleagues for overall team development.
- Ensure site project management team are working to the Company Procedures, Specifications and Standards and to any project-specific agenda.
- Effective communication with Senior Management Team.
- Advise on technical and engineering issues.
- Advise on tank construction methods.
- Advise on internal and external coating application methods.
- Interpretation & application of all Technical and Engineering schematics and drawings.
- Manage Technical Queries.
- Manage transition between project execution and handover, including project close-out and lessons learned.

Requirements

- Highest Education: Minimum Education University
- Degree title: Bachelor’s Degree in Building Construction or Civil Engineering
- Experience: Minimum Experience 15 Year
- Other experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Building Construction or Civil Engineering
- Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager)

Qualifications
- 15 years in Oil and Gas Tanks Maintenance, Fabrication, Blasting and Painting, Fireproofing and Thermal Insulation, Scaffolding, Manpower Supply and Project Support.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Building Construction or Civil Engineering
- NACE Level 1. Coating Inspector
- NACE Level 2. Coating Inspector
Preferred Skills:
- Project management experience of, above ground storage tank construction and rehabilitation, civil, and mechanical construction, camp construction, fabrication, pipe lines, flow lines, coatings, maintenance works for oil, gas and power plants on and off shore.
- Strong commercial acumen
- Productivity and simultaneous operations optimisation.
- Self-motivated and innovative.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team building, leadership and higher management liaison.
- Dedicated to achieving; safety, project milestones, project coordination and achieving a high level of quality, in compliance with company procedures
- Understanding of local community needs and relationships.

- Construction and rehabilitation of multiple type product above ground Storage Tanks
