The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives. Founded in 1933 at the request of Albert Einstein, the IRC offers lifesaving care and life-changing assistance to refugees forced to flee from war or disaster. At work today in over 40 countries and 22 U.S. cities, we restore safety, dignity and hope to millions who are uprooted and struggling to endure. The IRC leads the way from harm to home.

Job Description
- The IRC has conducted a design sprint with colleagues in Liberia to address the need for better supervision of community health workers’ (CHW) quality of care to clients. Currently, community health work supervisors are not often able to observe CHWs treating clients and in many cases, the quality of their feedback to CHW is not useful.

- Capture video of CHWs treating clients
- Provide video playback tools to help supervisors assess the quality of care provided in the video
- Prompt templates for supervisors to provide feedback
- Track performance of CHWs on a dashboard
- Dela is intended for use by CHWs with low digital literacy and in locations with limited data networks. We envision a Bluetooth-enabled system of data transfer, but like the core pieces of the concept, that has yet to be developed.
