Job Title: Business Development Manager
Locations: Port-Harcourt – Rivers and Delta

Duties / Responsibilities
- Identify marketing opportunities for engineering, procurement and construction services in the industry
- Identify, communicate, follow up and manage opportunities with existing projectsand potential clients
- Ensure on-time, technically accurate, administratively compliant, commercially viable, totally complete responses on proposals, quotes and RFP
- Proactively engage in the sourcing, collation and analyses of market information for the development of strategic plans /goals for the engineering industry
- Keep abreast of issues impacting the engineering industry in Nigeria and Africa in general.
- Manage the complete life cycle of a bid
- Secure and arrange business meetings for general business development activities
- Gather intelligence on clients and competitors in the industry
- Develop and implement strategies aimed at ensuring engineering,procurement and construction services business growth through aggressive sales
- Monitor proposal / tender progress with prospective clients and regulatory authorities
- Securing agreements on commercial disparity through commercial negotiations with external parties(JV partners, clients and customers)
- Participate in the development of Sales and Purchase Agreements
Qualification
Education:
- A good degree in the Engineering, Arts or Social Sciences
- An MBA would be an added advantage
Experience:
- A minimum of 8 years work experience, five of which should be in the commercial area of an Oil and Gas orprocessing company, with at least 6 years in a management position
Skills / Competencies:
- Strong Commercial, Financial and Business Acumen (Business Contract Review/Reporting Sales and Marketing Performance)
- Ability to communicate an energetic and clear strategic vision
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Ability to communicate an energetic and clear strategic vision
- Written and spoken communication skills that allow you to inform and advise others clearly
- Problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Organizational and planning skills to manage your own time and to meet deadlines and objectives
