Job Title: Senior Art Director

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Details

• Develop intelligent and creative solutions that amplify our brands’ personalities and messaging.
• Ensure that ideas/designs are produced timely, on budget, and with the degree of the quality promised to the client.
• Assist in generating concepts and scamps and developing of scamps to the finished layout.
• Constantly involved in photo-retouch and image development.
• Interact with Copywriters to develop creative concepts and executions of assigned product(s).
• Assist in developing new business presentations and 3rd party/vendor creative production.
• Effective and proper filing system on the server in line with projects.
• Mentoring of Junior Art Directors.
• Presenting ideas to the Creative Director for approval from concepts and executions.
• Producing sketches, visual references, and storyboards to convey the concept to the agency team, and then on to clients, designers, and producers.
• Responding to client and research feedback and continuing to develop the work until the final approval stage.
• Staying up-to-date with an available talent for commissioning among photographers, illustrators, and film directors through regularly reviewing their books and showreels.
• Must possess a strong portfolio of imaginative work.
• Strong visual concept skills and good basic drawing and design ability
• Understanding the target audience and proposed media to be used in the campaign.
• Devising and developing original advertising and communications ideas that engage the target audience and address the client’s business problem.
• Overseeing the production of creative outputs e.g. print advertisements, TV commercials, mailings, social media content, etc.
• Remain current on industry trends and technology
• Work on other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Job Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5-12 years work experience.
