The Federal Government on Tuesday 17th of November said it was making arrangements to conduct aptitude tests for over one million applicants for vacancy positions in the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
The government said the recruitment in the two agencies had provisions in the 2020 budget, which cannot be shelved or aborted.
It explained that the programmes were put on hold due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, while arrangements were being made to conduct the aptitude tests for the applicants with the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) facilities.
