Job Title: Graphics Designer

Location: Warri, Delta

Job Description

• Meet with clients to gain an understanding of what they want their proposed communications to look like. Create or incorporate illustrations, pictures, and designs to reflect the desired theme and tone of the communications.
• Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos and websites.
• Determining size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size.
• Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design.
• Create these materials by hand or by using technology, including computer software programs. Adobe’s Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and more is the standard in the industry and it is expected that designer is proficient with these programs.
• Managing client proposals from typesetting through to design, print and production.
• Preparing rough drafts of material based on the agreed brief.
• Test graphics across various media.
• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required.
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
• Liaising with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality.

Job Requirements

• B.sc in Creative Art, Graphics Designing or related field.
• Applicant should be detail and deadline oriented.
• Applicant should possess good communication skills.
• Applicant should be organized and self motivated.
• Applicant should be resident in Warri Delta State.
• Applicant should have the ability to use design programs and essential tools such asAdobe suite: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Applicant should have certification in graphics designing with available proof.
• Must possess atleast 4 years experience with samples of work available.
• Should be artistic, creative and constantly evolving.
• Applicant should have an understanding of layout, design, and typography.
• Applicant should have basic knowledge of HTML; coding experience is a plus.
• Applicant should have an understanding of the digital and print requirements for formatting.
• Applicant should be able to use interactive media to create motion graphics, animation, audio or video.

Salary
NGN40,000 – 80,000 / Month.
