Job Title: Cardio Thoracic Surgeon

Job Summary
- Looking for a full time Cardiothoracic Surgeon to be based at Evercare Hospital Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria.

- The Cardiothoracic Surgeon will be a member of the senior medical team and he/she will provide leadership and guidance in establishing the highest standards of care and ensuring optimal delivery of quality care in line with international best practices. The incumbant shall be responsible for leading and setting up the department and shall work directly with the Chief Medical Officer to ensure a smooth functioning of the department and ensuring delivery of desired clinical outcomes.
Qualifications
- MBBS/MBChB or equivalent
- Fellowship in CTVS of either the West African College of Surgeons (WACS) and/or the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN); OR Equivalent fellowship in a country where you can obtain license to practice in Nigeria
- Must be a minimum of two-years post-fellowship.
- Foreign training and experience are an added advantage. 9 Knowledge/skills required
- Excellent surgical skills – adult and paediatric
- Competencies in Cardiac, Thoracic and Esophageal surgery – Coronary artery bypass surgery, heart valve surgery, aortic surgery, septal defects, surgery for Lung cancer, lung cysts, infected lungs, video assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS), chest wall deformities,
- Advanced skill in ECMO, Bronchoscopy, and Esophageal Surgery are added advantages. • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team

Job Title: Emergency Medicine Specialist
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Job Description
- The Emergency Medicine Specialist is responsible to the Chief Medical Officer
- He/she will be involved with directing and supervising emergency medical care for patients at the ER and as required
- He/she is a member of the senior medical team and coordinates provision of specialized and high-quality care in Emergency Medicine for patients who present to the hospital’s Emergency Department while providing leadership and guidance in establishing the highest standards of care and ensuring optimal delivery of quality care in line with international best practices.
Qualifications
- MBBS / MBChB or equivalent
- Fellowship in Emergency Medicine with the West African College of Surgeons (WACS) and/or the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) or Equivalent fellowship in a country where you can obtain license to practice in Nigeria

- Trauma life support certification.

- Ultrasound guided skills (peripheral/central vascular access, pericardiocentesis, focused assessment with sonography in trauma (FAST).
- Musculoskeletal techniques (fracture immobilization and reduction).

Job Title: Neonatal Intensivist

Job Description
- The Neonatal Intensivist is a member of the senior medical team and coordinates specialized care for patients with neonatal critical illnesses. He/she provides leadership and guidance in establishing the highest standards of care and ensuring optimal delivery of quality care in line with international best practices.
Qualifications
- MBBS / MBChB or equivalent
- Fellowship with the Faculty of Paediatrics of either the West African College of Physicians (WACP) and/or the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) or Equivalent fellowship in a country where you can obtain license to practice in Nigeria
- Specific training and demonstrable experience in Neonatal Intensive Care.
- Must be a minimum of 3 years post-fellowship. Foreign training and experience are an added advantage.
- Basic and Advanced Neonatal and Pediatric Life Support certification.
- Advanced Mechanical ventilation and High-frequency oscillatory ventilation management.
- Competencies in the operation and management of CRRT and Peritoneal dialysis in Pediatric patients.
- Hands on experience in management of various Neonatal and Pediatric Critical Care Patients.
