Job Title: Account Clerk
Location: Abule-egba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- The core function of this role is to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial taks.
- Responsibilities include keeping financial records updated preparing reports and reconciling of inventory.
Job Duties
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
- Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- Daily reconciliation of the stock position
- Constantly update job knowledge.
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
- Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
- Provide assistance and support to company personnel
- Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws.
Qualifications and Criteria
- HND / B.Sc in Accounting with at least 1-2 year experience as an Account Personnel or
- OND Accounting with at least 3-4 years experience as an account personnel
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Aptitude for numbers
- Ability to perform filling and record keeping tasks
- Data entry and word processing skills
- Well organized.
- Competency in MS office, databases and accounting software
- Hands-on-experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
- Accuracy and attention to detail
Working Hours:
- 8 – 6 pm.
Salary
The total Package is #50,000 per month.
