Job Description

  • Responsible for keeping her/his pulse on the business performance as well as leading the charge on growth opportunities.
  • This role will be responsible for brand development, marketing as well leading negotiations on commercial partnerships of the channel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team responsible for developing the channel brand and also marketing its content for audience development.
  • Working closely with production team towards producing content for sponsorship.
  • Sourcing for programmes and advert placement on channel
  • Track progress and efficiency of marketing campaigns and optimise as needed.
  • Provide detailed analysis and reporting on marketing campaigns.
  • Establish an effective workflow for your team
  • Assessing training needs of your team and making recommendations to management.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams such as assignment editors, operations, creatives, reporters and digital team.

Qualifications

  • With significant experience in with a TV channel, you will have an extensive knowledge of branding and marketing.

You will also:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communication, Marketing or similar discipline preferred.
  • Track progress and efficiency of marketing campaigns and optimize as needed.
  • Provide detailed analysis and reporting on marketing campaigns.
  • Experience developing creative for digital platforms a major plus
  • Must be a team player, collaborative, proactive and flexible
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure that all programmes conform to brand and company standards.
  • Have a global mindset and strong business acumen, preferably with experience of working in multicultural environments.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to work across departments
  • Self-directed, efficient and able to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a professional and confident manner under tight deadlines
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Have management skills, and capable of inspiring teams
  • Excel at work within a culturally and ethnically diverse staff.
