Job Title: Business Development Executive (B2B, B2C, B2G)

Location: Akoka – Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: CCO

Key Summary of the Job

  • To develop relationships with clients to win orders
  • To improve the company’s market position and achieve revenue growth by getting new business and retaining them
  • To identify business opportunities and generate new leads
  • To build key customer relationships
  • To participate in promotional activities, campaigns, trade shows and exhibitions to create awareness for the company’s brand.
  • To liaise with key stakeholders to ensure that they are fully briefed and engaged in order to ensure that sales revenue targets are met.

Task Complexities:

  • Responsible for driving company revenue by sourcing for new clients & influencing existing clients to make repeat business.
  • Procure new corporate & enterprise clients through direct contact & networking.
  • Manage & maintain existing client relationships to generate new revenue. Develop , maintain and grow relationships with players in the Corporate , Real estate, Commercial ,Hospitability and Public sector for the purpose of lead generation.
  • Have an extensive network & relationship within the public & private sectors.
  • Develop business proposals & contracts.
  • Responsible for monthly, quarterly & annual assigned revenue targets.
  • Negotiating with clients/prospects to secure new deals.
  • Convert leads to sales opportunities by identifying alignment of clients critical needs with company’s solution.
  • Work closely with Chief Commercial Officer to prioritize opportunities and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales revenue target.
  • Receive clients’ feedback and relay to appropriate departments.
  • Act as a trusted professional advisor to clients.
  • Liase with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery on projects based on agreed SLA.
  • Preparation of weekly reports / updates & ensure timely submission of same to the Chief Commercial Officer.

Education & Experience
Requirements:

  • A Degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Sciences or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 1 – 3 years of demonstrable experience in marketing , merchandising or related field.
