Job Description
- Demonstrated competence in IFRSs and IPSAS (US GAAP is an advantage)
- Practical IFRS Experience including valuations and modelling e.g. IFRS 9, 16 and 17 modelling
- Advanced excel and analytical skills
- Experience in developing finance process and control framework
- Proficiency in PowerBI
- Digital fluency
- Strong Research Abilities
- Strong presentation and report writing skills
- Ability to use financial reporting tools e.g. CaseWare is an advantage
- Experience in Financial Reporting (Consolidation and complex structures)
- Competence in SAP HANA, Microsoft ERPs (added advantage)
- Demonstrated competence in managing a team and working independently.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc., B.A., B.Eng. / B.Tech., etc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any discipline with a minimum Of Second Class Upper / Upper Credit Division
- Have a minimum of five credits in WASSCE Ordinary Level/NECO subjects or acceptable equivalent examination, including Mathematics and English Language in one sitting only
- 4-5 years in Professional Services ( Big 4 is an advantage) or 6 – 8 years industry experience
- CITN/ACA/ACCA qualified
- CFA or CIMA( Added advantage)

Description
- The MIS Specialist shall mainly be responsible for setting up the Management Information System for projects and ensuring that information systems are developed and deployed in each project state in due time and the Systems meet standards for quality and functional requirements.
- The successful candidate shall be domiciled in Abuja and directly involved in requirement gathering, architecting, designing, testing, fine tuning, security assessment and deployment (including training) of the Systems.
Requirements
- Proven IT / Software Project Management skills
- Experience in software development tools including .NET, Java, PHP, JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, Python, Golang or other popular web development tool or framework is an advantage
- Experience using Project Management tools such as Microsoft Project, Trello, JIRA, Mantis Bug Tracker etc
- A master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Project Management, Business Administration or Engineering or an equivalent qualification with 5 years working experience or a bachelor’s Degree with 7 years’ experience in the related field
- Prior work experience in a similar position is required
- Project management experience in managerial / team lead role is required
- Strong understanding of Database Management Systems including SQL and NoSQL systems
- Proficiency in data modelling and design as well as in information system architecture, design and development
- Strong knowledge and experience in system administration; administration of server operating systems including Windows Server or a Unix based server. Knowledge of virtualization is an advantage
- Certification in Project Management will be an added advantage
