- In this role, the suitable candidate will be responsible for the rigorous data analysis, documentation and packaging of information required for the efficient and speedy processing and delivery of corporate financing deals, as well as, meeting specified financial/operational targets.

- Provide Support to Head, Investment Banking in deal identification and origination.
- Actively identify and follow up on emerging market opportunities.
- Develop and articulate a comprehensive strategic Structuring framework for handling deals.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of overall Operational Plan/Budget for IBD for each financial year.
- Carry out design/structuring products/platforms for delivering/achieving advisory/capital raising targets for attained mandates.
- Assist in the process of developing capital raising windows both locally and offshore in line with the requirements of the target market.
- Prepare status reports on a periodic basis.
- Provide Transaction Execution/Management support to ensure cutting edge delivery of services that would surpass client’s expectations.
- Perform any other responsibilities as directed by the Head, Investment Banking from time to time.
Person Specification
- First Degree in any Business-related course from a recognized institution
- An MBA or relevant MSc will be an added advantage
- 7-10+ years of professional work experience in Investment Banking and Corporate Finance
- CFA certification is required
- Industry knowledge of Mergers & Acquisitions, Financial Structuring and Valuation are key to success in this role.

Job Description

- In this role, the suitable candidate is required to assist in communicating with stockbrokers, placing buy and sell orders, trading stocks on electronic networks and completing required paperwork.

Responsibilities
- Support and contribute to the achievement of the company’s strategic objectives in this area inclusive of the acquisition of a viable dealing license to facilitate trading on the NSE.
- Draft a practical and result driven procedural manual for the company’s trading activities.
- Manage business relationship with existing and potential customers to ensure market growth.
- Assist in formulating market penetration strategies and customer relationship plans to increase market share.
- Provide regular reports/updates for Group Coordinator, Operation’s attention
- Implement effective structure for trading on the floors of the NSE and other approved markets.
- Prepare daily trading reports that give a clear insight of activities within the various target markets.
- Ensure flawless and optimal execution of trade deals.
Requirements
- First degree in any business-related course
- 3 years’ post NYSC experience.
- An MBA or relevant MSc will be an added advantage
- Possession of at least one relevant professional qualification is a must (e.g., CIS)
- The ideal candidate is an Accredited Dealer
