We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Niger
Employment Type: Full time

Overview

  • Pad-Up Creations Limited is an award winning company producing Nigeria’s first certified washable and reusable sanitary pads distributed across 16 African countries. We are implementing 2 different ptojects that requires empowering Nigerian youth between the ages of 18 – 35 years.

Program Manager

  • Ensure implementation of program strategies
  • Coordinate departmental teams in achieving program targets
  • Strongly articulate the activities of Pad-Up Creations Limited to make persuasive presentations to external stakeholders
  • Provide guidance and expert advice on implementation of new or emerging service delivery initiatives/services, including youth-friendly services
  • Research funding opportunities and leverage CSR and/or workplace giving objectives
  • Provide progress reports on project activities to country leadership
  • Attend meetings and represent Pad-Up Creations Limited to external stakeholders
  • Provide oversight to programs and support staff
  • Special projects as assigned

Monitoring & Evaluation:

  • Strengthen monitoring and evaluation procedures
  • Coordinate current organization activities to be captured / presented by the M & E team
  • Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results in sales, marketing and programs
  • Support monitoring and evaluation of the effects and impact of the Pad-Up Creations Limited operations.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or related field.
  • Strong and polished interpersonal & presentation skills; written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex issues in a concise, accessible, and engaging way
  • Strong network and networking skills
  • Experience in sexual and reproductive health
  • Experience in the planning and execution of largescale projects, including activities planning
  • Excellent analytical (qualitative and quantitative) skills
  • 4 years+ experience in a demanding and fast-paced environment.

Job Title: Counselor / Therapist

Location: Niger State
Employment type: Full time

Overview

  • Pad-Up Creations Limited is an award winning company producing Nigeria’s first certified washable and reusable sanitary pads distributed across 16 African countries. We discovered that a lot of girls are traumatized by their teenage experiences and we would like to bridge this gap. We are looking for a counselor who will educate and rehabilitate traumatized girls/boy.

Counselor/ Therapist

  • A Counselor manages mental health and rehabilitative services. They help individuals to recover from trauma or difficult situations. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed in working with both individuals and groups. Ability to speak Nigerian languages is an advantage.  A typical work schedule is Monday through Friday during normal office hours but could require a more flexible schedule, which could include working weekends.

Educational Qualification

  • The candidate should have a minimum of B.Sc or HND in related field.

Counselor Skills
A successful candidate will have the following minimum skills and qualifications needed for the job as Counselor:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to empathize with clients
  • Ability to consider internal and external resources to develop a client treatment plan
  • Willingness to work on-call or at a sudden notice
  • Organizational skills

Job Title: Project Accountant

Location: Niger

Job Description

  • Project Accountant (PA) is a strategic partner in running the Project and plays a crucial role in providing central financial direction to the Project. The PA will direct and oversee all financial functions of the Project, create, and drives a culture of financial discipline and prudence in all transactions and resource allocations.
  • He / She will be required to keep complete and accurate accounting records at all times and present reports on all financial transactions to the Project Team, Project Promoters and any other 3rd parties that may be required.
  • He / She will prepare and monitor periodic cash flow projections, manage the liquidity position of the Project, and ensure prompt settlement of liabilities including statutory payments and all forms of taxes that may impinge on the timely completion of the project. This will include ensure that foreign exchange exist to be settle contractors and consultant’s invoices in line with budgeted exchange rates and ensure that the project ‘s open position is with approved limits and is fully covered.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Project Accountant is responsible for the assessment of the company’s performance against both the annual budget (in line with the levers of control) and the company’s approved 5-year Plan.
  • The Project Accountant is responsible for ensuring that all foreign currency payments are made in accordance with contracted terms and budgeted exchange rates.
  • Responsible for periodic Macro-Economic Analysis to help review the Project’s strategic assumptions and advice on redress measures where necessary.
  • Develops tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the Project Team and provides actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations.
  • Identify risks and possible bottlenecks in the Project Operations and report on possible impact on all aspects of operations.
  • Ensure that the project is executed within the approved project costs, plan the project cashflows.
  • The Project accountant will ensure that financial discipline and prudence is applied for all transactions and will provide primary controls to ensure that the assets of the project are well secured.
  • Put the right mechanism in place to ensure Business Pays all obligations on due date, stays Cash-Flow Positive throughout the period in line with the financial indicators in the plan.
  • Responsible for the seamless and real-time running of the financial reporting processes to aid speed of service delivery to both internal and external parties.
  • Report the actual financial Performance and compare with the Control Levers.
  • Oversee the finance and Accounts unit to ensure proper maintenance of all accounting systems and function.
  • Oversee payroll budgeting, monthly payroll, and all related controls. Assist in the design, implementation, and timely calculations of wages, incentives, commissions, and bonuses and ensure adequate cash flow for payroll payments.
  • Insurance Claim workflow should be strictly monitored, and each claim settled/closed within a month after the incident.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a second Class upper in Accounting, Economics, or Finance from a reputable university.
  • Must be a Chartered Accountant (ACCA or ACA) or in process.
  • Applicant must have a Minimum of 4 years working experience in similar role as project Accountant.

  • As the ideal candidate, you will need to be a visionary leader with a strong communication skill.
  • To be successful in this role, you must be proactive & strategic by pre-emptively anticipate issues before they arise. More so, you should possess good business judgment and thoughtfully inquisit.
  • Ability to work well under pressure is of utmost importance and travel at short notice.

This new role offers the opportunity to help shape and grow Pad-Up Creations limited in Niger and Benin republic and regionally, ensuring we maintain and strengthen our reputation for delivering high quality products and services in the health and WASH sector.

Country Director (Niger and Benin Republic)
Pad-Up Creations Limited Country Representative has two core responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic growth for Niger and Benin Republic (and to a small extent, regionally) and ensuring Pad-Up Creations Limited effective operation in Niger and Benin republic.
  • The post holder will be a senior member of Pad-Up Creations Limited globally, responsible for the successful execution of Pad-Up Creations Limited strategy at country level in Niger and Benin Republic.
  • S/he will be responsible for identifying, developing and delivering new business opportunities in Niger and Benin,regionally and externally representing Pad-Up Creations Limited”, increasing brand awareness and recognition.
  • They will oversee Pad-Up Creations Limited’ operations within Niger and Benin replublic and have oversight of some of our national programmes.

Person Specification
To succeed in this role you will:

  • Be an entrepreneurial self-starter with a track record of leading and building organizations.
  • Bring strong knowledge of the health/WASH sector (and / or closely related sectors) in Niger and Benin republic and an established reputation of delivering high quality work.
  • Will have experience of working at a senior level in a global business and the passion and drive to make a difference to the health/WASH and well-being of the most vulnerable, particularly women and girls.
