Job Title: Head of Human Resources
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Responsibilities
- Develop systems and processes necessary for the human resource management, tracking, planning and execution of projects.
- Prepare annual, quarterly and monthly OPEX and CAPEX budgets and ensure business runs optimally within approved budget.
- Define and implement strategies and policies that will enhance operational efficiency and productivity across the business.
- Streamline existing business processes and ensure adherence by staff • Attend clients’ meetings for ongoing and prospective projects. Determine project requirements and assign staff. Oversee and maintain liaison between all parties concerned with the project to facilitate any changes or modifications and to facilitate resolution of project bottlenecks.
- Oversee the development of relevant project proposals and budgets and recommend approval of them before submission to clients.
- Advise on and be involved in the hiring of operation staff.
- Conduct performance evaluation of staff.
- Create job descriptions training programs, continuing education and career path for operation staff
- Analyse short- and long-term resource needs and adjust human and material resources accordingly.
- Ensure completion of deliverables and adherence to timelines; track milestones and timelines across projects and institute necessary workflow, personnel and financial resource allocations, making alterations when necessary to meet expectation of clients; analyse and resolve issues that have the potential to jeopardize performance and or to meet agreed upon deliverables; analyse financial and operational reports.
- Maintain records of expenses and approve payment for contractors. Track milestones, and inform the accounts department as these levels are attained so invoices can be sent in a timely manner.
- Proactively identify changes in work scope and ensure appropriate planning measures are taken with internal and external clients to reassess, renegotiate and amend scope of work responsibilities, proposals, contracts and budgets.
- Identify trendsetter business development ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
- Recommend and develop new business opportunities.
- Screen potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
- Examine risks and potentials for the business opportunities.
- Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential. • Identify, establish and maintain business relationships.
- Overall responsibility for the P&L.
- Perform any other duties incidental to the work described herein or as assigned by the CEO.
Job Requirements / Specifications
- Candidates should have 5 – 8 years total HR experience preferably in a tech company and must have an understanding of tech related processes.
- Proven experience as Chief Operating Office, Head of HR Operations or similar role
- Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
- Experience in fundraising will be a plus
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
- Working knowledge of Tech infrastructure
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
- BSc / BA in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or relevant field.
- MSc / MBA is a plus
- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems including payroll tools
- Experience in designing compensation and benefits programs
- Good knowledge of labour legislation
- Experience Level: Management level
Salary
N500,000 – N650,000 (Monthly).

- Knowledge of system frameworks and Scrum/Agile or Kanban software development processes
- Experience creating and maintaining databases.
- Experience with systems deployed on Unix/Linux/Solaris environments. Provide overall team guidance and fix all escalations.

Job Title: Chief Financial Officer
Location: Lagos

- To act as Chief Financial Officer and strategic business partner to Group senior executive leadership team.
- To assess and evaluate the financial performance of the organization with regard to long-term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts.
- Provide insight and recommendations to both the short-term and long-term growth plan of the organization.
- Identify, acquire and implement systems and software to provide critical financial and operational information.
- Evaluate departments and make suggestions for automating processes and increasing working efficiency.
- Communicate, engage and interact with Board of Directors, CEO, COO, ED (Finance), and Executive Leadership Team.
- Create and establish yearly financial objectives that align with the company s plan for growth and expansion.
- Involve in the process to recruit, interview, and hire finance, accounting, and payroll staff as required.
- Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and round table discussion panel.
- Participate in pivotal decisions as they relate to strategic initiatives and operational models.
- Interact with and bring the department into line with the Board of Directors plans, initiatives, and recommendations.
- Implement policies, procedures, and processes as deemed appropriate by the senior leadership team.
- Prepare and present monthly financial budgeting reports including monthly profit and loss by division, forecast vs. budget by division/unit, and weekly cash flow by division/unit.
- Review and analyze monthly financial results and provide recommendations. Develop metrics for reviewing and interpreting financial performance such as financial ratios, KPI, KRI, KGI, etc.
- Identify, develop and execute analysis of business initiatives, product launches, and/or new service offerings.
- Develop and maintain a monthly operating budget and annual company operating budget.
- Manage financial planning and analysis department.
- Supervise the creation of reports, software implementation, and tools for budgeting and forecasting.
- Supervise the accounting department to ensure the proper functioning of all systems, databases, and financial software.
- Provide regular maintenance and backup of all accounting systems and supervise company financial staff.
- Review and ensure the application of appropriate internal controls, compliance, and financial procedures.
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial and management reporting data for the company s board of directors.
- Oversee the preparation and communication of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all local, state, and federal tax returns.
- Ensure compliance regarding all financial functions.
- Work with Human Resources to ensure appropriate legal compliance. Oversee the month-end close process, constantly reviewing procedures while eliminating inefficiencies.
- Review all month-end closing activities including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts, and overhead cost allocation.
- Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems
- Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors; Manage preparation and support of all external audits.
- Coordinate and strategize methods used to attain team goals
- Manage cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability. Oversee cash, investments, and asset management area.
- Explore new investment opportunities and provide recommendations on potential returns and risks.
- Maintain outstanding banking relationships and strategic alliances with vendors and business partners.
- Utilize forward-looking models and activity-based analyses to provide financial insight into the organization s plans and operating budgets.
- Engage with the board of directors to develop short-term and long-term plans, projections, and budgets.
- Represent the company in banks, financial partners, institutions, investors, public auditors, and officials.
- Remain current on audit best practices as well as state, federal, and local laws regarding company operations.
- Mentor and develop a team, managing work allocation, systems training, performance evaluations, and the building of an effective and efficient team dynamic.
- Oversee weekly cash management, approve low/large payables.
- Supervise Accounts Receivable management and provide guidance relating to the collection process.
Job Requirements / Specifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Must be a Chartered Accountant.
- MBA from top business school preferred.
- Strong background in accounting.
- Possession of CFE, CISA, CFAN professional certifications as an added advantage. 8+ years total accounting or finance post qualification experience. Outstanding knowledge and understanding of IFRS, FIRS, compliance, and regulatory reporting.
- Background coordinating with I.T. staff to manage and/or upgrade accounting system. Systems implementation experience strongly preferred.
- Hands-On Tally ERP, SAP, experience preferred.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence ability to motivate staff.
- Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Significant experience working with external auditors, internal controls, and compliance-related issues.
Salary
NGN 500,000 – 650,000 Monthly.
