Job Description
- Work collaboratively with Leadership to promote and execute the strategic plan for Marketing and Advertising to build up brand awareness and preference
- Provide direction and leadership in overall marketing strategy in Nigeria and Africa
- Develop and implement Market Entry/Penetration Strategy for areas/regions yet untapped
- Drive product penetration via aggressive development of distribution network and capabilities across country
- Lead and Coach sales team for optimal productivity
- Develop incentive scheme to enhance sell through and sell out and ensure maximum participation of customers
- Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from conceptualization to execution
- Plan, arrange and implement overall marketing plan based on yearly target
- Manage marketing vendor, agency and partner relationships and related contracts
- Monitor, analyze and research the industry for strategic decision making and planning
- Provide strategic direction for valuable and engaging content for our website and social media handles that attracts and converts our target groups
- Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely
- Oversee and approve marketing material for sales activation and promotions
- Measure and provide report on the overall company sales & marketing performance.
General Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Management course or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of computer applications especially the Microsoft suite.
Experience:
- Seven (7) years mobile phones sales experience in territory and distributor management with a proven track record of success in a senior sales role
- Ability to analyse large volumes of complex information, interpret this and use it to construct straightforward plans
- Working experience with advertising agency will be an added advantage
