Job Summary
- We are looking for a blockchain product developer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting a distributed blockchain-based network. Your primary responsibility will be analyzing requirements, designing blockchain technology around a certain business model, and the building and launching of a blockchain network.
Job Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, and test blockchain technologies.
- Brainstorm and help evaluate applications for new tools and technologies as they continually evolve.
- Maintain and extend current client- and server-side applications responsible for integration and business logic.
- Be involved in the global blockchain community—work on implementing and integrating the latest improvement proposals.
- Document new solutions as well as maintaining that of existing ones.
Job Requirements
- Strong software development background
- Experience working with large codebases.
- Experience working with open-source projects.
- Proficiency in one of the following languages: C++, Java, JavaScript{{Depending on the project }}
- Strong knowledge of common algorithms and data structures

Job Title: Ventures Officer
Locations: Lagos and Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Service Dimensions
- Over $1 billion average annual budget
- Supporting Operations of over 250,000 bopd of Production
- OML 130 – Akpo and Egina Fields in Production
- Compliance with laws, regulations, and guidelines to ensure continuity of operations.
- Daily, regular, and robust engagement with the Authorities managing complex correspondences, meeting, and documentations.
- Main interlocutors: DPR, NIMASA, Nigerian Nuclear Radiation Agency (NNRA) Navy, Ministry of
- Environment, NPA, FAAN, NERC, SON, NSA, NAPIMS, NOSDRA
- Regular domestic and international travels (sites in Nigeria, France, China, oil discharge locations)
- Set up and participate in an average 60 meeting sessions per annum.
Service Content / Problem Solving (Activities)
Role:
- The Service holder shall be primary-in-charge with the DPR Abuja Headquarters.
- The Service holder shall be a Representative, Coordinator and Advisor of the Authorities Department in Abuja and manage intricate relationships.
- The Service holder acts with a measure of independence without immediate supervision.
- The Service holder is part of the team in charge of relationship management with all the Regulatory Agencies.
- The Service holder plays a key role in the interface between the company and Regulatory Agencies to ensure permits, approvals and licenses are secured, and compliance is maintained.
- The Service holder plays a key role in ensuring permits/approval/licenses are received to ensure continuity of operations and avoidance of sanctions.
- The Service holder shall take over the Venture Management/Authorities (NAPIMS) or Partner role when the Service holder is on leave.
- The Service holder reports to Manager Authorities DW ARAC Service Functions
- Liaise with Regulatory Authorities/representatives, maintaining a cordial relationship with the working teams and middle management.
- Ensure suitably is gathered and conveyed on schedule including reformulation, filtering, and redirecting as necessary and a multitude of reporting.
- Organize meetings and take accurate records, ensuring company’s position, as well as any alignment with regulatory agency is properly captured.
- Collation and submit applications for approvals/permit/licenses.
- Collate and submit data reports required by Regulators from internal teams.
- Manage the database of all outstanding Permits/approval/Licenses
- Manage the database of follow up tracker of current issues and active correspondences with the Authorities

- Frequent interaction with the various Regulatory Agencies, liaising with demanding and Regulatory
- Agencies and exigent Representatives.
- Service holder handles and is preview to highly confidential information and must safeguard best interest
- of the company and partners
- Major operated asset and a major project, with a significant contribution to ensure the Group to meet its
- production growth targets
- Trend towards local content issues and the domestication of the studies has hardened the Authorities’
- stance towards the foreign oil companies
HSE Objectives
The Service Holder adheres to the H3SE rules
- Communicate our H3SE Company rules and Procedures to all Government Agencies
- Set a personal example in adherence to the affiliate’s H3SE rules, procedures and instructions
- Ensure uninterrupted validity of personal medical certificate
- Participation actively in H3SE meetings, training sessions, and drills and co-operate actively in the execution of H3SE plans.
Accountabilities:
- Under the supervision of the Manager Authorities the Service holder shall maintain a cordial relationship and liaise with all the Regulatory Agencies to ensure that operations are not held up because of regulatory delays.
- Major operated asset for the group with a significant percentage of the Group’s production target.
- Follow up with internal teams for collation of information for external and internal meetings, reports, and regulatory request for timely submission to avoid sanctions and delays on the issuance of approvals/permits and licences.
- Coordinate meeting with the Government Agencies and over-see meeting logistics to avoid difficulties with the authorities and internal teams.
- Coordinate timely payment of statutory fees to avoid delays in the submission and securing of Approvals / permits / Licenses from Government Agencies.
Qualifications / Experience Required
- Graduate in Engineering, Humanities, Legal or Business & Administration, the Service holder must have a sound technical or business professional experience of 10 years,
- Be comfortable interacting with senior government officials
- Flexibility and full dedication to the Service are essential.
