Job Title: PMC Principal Civil / Structural Engineer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: One year fixed term contract (staff or contract basis).

Details

• The individual will be responsible for all civil and structural engineering activities on behalf of the client team.

Key Responsibilities

• Review contractors civil and structural engineering activities and ensure they are proceeding to the correct level of quality and in accordance with the project plans.
• Interaction with other disciplines for all interfaces particularly Process, Piping, Pipelines, Instruments, Material Management and Project Engineering.
• Co-ordination of civil and structural engineering activities for client.
• Reviewing plot and site plans
• Attend and contribute to design reviews.
• Prepare, develop and write as required civil and structural engineering specifications, procedures and technical design instructions on behalf of client.
• Review and check vendor document / data / information for compliance with the projects specifications.
• Review and preparation of lessons learnt
• Review of change requests.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related subject
• 15+ years experience of working with a major EPC Contractor, Operator and/or equipment supplier Refinery project experience
• PMC experience
• Chartered Engineer
• Must be willing to travel

Job Title: PMC Junior Project Engineer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: One Year Fixed Term Contract (staff or contract basis)

• Our client is seeking a graduate Project Engineer to perform PMC project engineering activities on a major integrated refinery FEED.
• The individual will support the client team in various project engineering activities on behalf of the client team.

Key Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for project activities as assigned by the project manager and engineering managers Participate in all project safety and design reviews as necessary
• To support project management team in the management of contractor based design change notices and queries
• Collation and management of site queries
• Review and preparation of lessons learnt
• Review of change requests.

Job Title: PMC Senior Pipeline Engineer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract (Part time)
Duration: One year fixed term contract (staff or contract basis)

Job Description

• The individual will be responsible for all pipeline engineering activities on behalf of the client team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the pipeline engineering activities for client and ensure that contractor deliverables conform to all applicable engineering codes and standards as well as the client policies and procedures
• Provide direction and guidance on all pipeline technical queries relating to pipeline workscope
• Participate in all project safety and design reviews as necessary
• Review and check vendor document / data / information for compliance with the projects specifications.
• Review of pipeline route selections
• Review mechanical design, i.e. wall thickness, preliminary stress analysis, expansion analysis, and free-span analysis
• Review of material take-offs, material specifications and data sheets
• Review Pipeline FEED scopes of work
• Review pipeline FEED schedules and Cost Estimate
• Review and preparation of lessons learnt
• Review of change requests.

Job Title: PMC Senior Planning Engineer / Scheduler

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: One year fixed term contract (staff or contract basis)

Details

• The individual will be responsible for all planning and scheduling activities on behalf of the client team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the planning and scheduling activities on behalf of client team
• Provide direction and guidance on all queries relating to electrical scheduling
• Create and maintain various levels of project plans in accordance with client team procedures
• Review plans and schedule data and advise of any potential delays and risks to the baseline schedule and budget
• Preparation or review of a variety of weekly and monthly planning reports such as Gantt Charts, Networks, S-Curves, Resource Histograms and Project Dashboards
• Providing accurate planning information to the client Project Manager and Engineering managers to allow for work prioritisation, scheduling, reporting and resourcing
• Support the Project Manager / Engineering Managers in the successful delivery of all work within assigned project.

• The individual will be responsible for all electrical engineering activities on behalf of the client team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the electrical engineering activities for client and ensure that contractor deliverables conform to all applicable engineering codes and standards as well as the client policies and procedures
• Provide direction and guidance on all technical queries relating to electrical engineering workscope
• Participate in all project safety and design reviews as necessary
• Review and check vendor document / data / information for compliance with the projects specifications.
• Review electrical design basis, philosophies and study reports system specifications and data sheets for High voltage AC & DC systems, Medium voltage systems and Low voltage systems
• Review multidiscipline package specifications and carry out technical evaluations

• The individual will be responsible for all instrumentation and control engineering activities on behalf of the client team which includes DCS & ESD systems and related systems.

Job Title: PMC Principal Mechanical Engineer (Rotating and Static Equipment)

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: One year fixed term contract (staff or contract basis)

Details

• Our client is seeking an experienced Principal Mechanical Engineer to perform PMC activities on a major integrated refinery FEED
• The individual will be responsible for all mechanical engineering activities on behalf of the client team which includes rotating equipment, pressure vessels, exchangers, fired equipment, packaged equipment, mechanical handling equipment and HVAC.
• Individual with significant rotating equipment, packaged equipment and static equipment experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Review of specifications, data sheets and material requisitions
• Review of bid evaluations and recommended supplier lists
• Quality control, schedule control and budget control of the engineering contractors mechanical workscope
• Act as a subject matter expert for mechanical equipment related issues
• Responding to mechanical equipment based clarifications from client team and engineering contractor
• Review and preparation of lessons learnt
• Review of change requests
• Knowledge of design codes and industry standards for area of expertise.
• Good knowledge of auxiliary systems including control systems.

Job Title: Deputy Project Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: One year fixed term contract (staff or contract basis)

Details

• The individual will be responsible for project management activities on behalf of the client team

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a PMC project team, which will include project engineering management, project engineering, engineering disciplines, project services, and third parties
• Accountable for delivering the project or part of a project in accordance with the Contract, within budget and plan and to agreed corporate and client HSSE and Quality standards.
• Responsible for all management, commercial and technical decisions relating to the project.
• Report to Project Sponsor on major issues relating to the contract or Company relationship and will implement recommendations for resolution.
• Excellent communication skills are essential
• Essential Skills: Excellent management, delegation, and leadership skills, tactfulness in resolving issues, strong business acumen, team player, proactive approach

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical / Process Engineering, Mechanical or related field
